About

World Bible Guide is the whole Bible twice over: the King James text you know, and a plain-language reading that says the same thing in today's English. Switch between them on any verse with a single tap. Sixty-six books. 31,102 verses. Every one of them in both translations, and every book opening with its own original artwork. WHAT'S INSIDE • The complete King James Version • A plain-language reading of every verse, written to be understood on the first pass • Original artwork for all sixty-six books • Verse of the Day on the home screen • A clean, unhurried reading screen with adjustable text size TWO TRANSLATIONS, ONE TAP APART The King James Version is the English Bible most quoted, most memorised and most argued over — and, four centuries on, often the hardest to read cold. Every verse here carries a plain-language reading beside it, so you can meet a passage in plain English first and then read it in the King James, or the other way round. Nothing is summarised away: the plain reading covers every verse, not selected highlights. READS ANYWHERE The entire Bible ships inside the app. There is no account to make and no sign-in. On a plane, underground, or with the phone in Airplane Mode, every verse is still there — the app makes no network calls at all and collects no data about you. ALL SIXTY-SIX BOOKS Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1, 2 and 3 John, Jude and Revelation. FREE TO READ Chapter 1 of every book is free in both translations, as is the Verse of the Day. Five books are therefore free in full: Obadiah, Philemon, 2 John, 3 John and Jude. THE SUBSCRIPTION One subscription unlocks every chapter of all sixty-six books, in both the King James text and the plain-language reading. • $4.99 per month • $29.99 per year — about half the monthly price Both begin with a 3-day free trial. One subscription covers your iPhone and iPad on the same Apple Account. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel yours in your Apple Account settings. What's New in World Bible Guide

1.1.0

August 20, 2026

A plain-language reading of the whole Bible, and a much faster app. • Every verse now has a plain-language reading alongside the King James text. Switch between them on any verse. • Original artwork for all sixty-six books, including several that previously showed a blank header. • Verse of the Day is back on the home screen. • Books and chapters load quickly now, and the app reads entirely offline — it makes no network calls at all. • Removed the video screen. About the subscription: earlier versions made the whole text available at no charge. From this version, chapter 1 of every book stays free in both translations, as does the Verse of the Day, and the remaining chapters need a subscription. We would rather say that plainly here than have you find it out on your own.
