Fun low stakes activity
We did these scavenger hunts in three different cities during our Baltic vacation this year! they are a super fun low stakes way to explore a new city and get a feel for things without being restricted to time of a guided in person tour. We are in our 30s and sure, some clues were “easy” but some were genuinely challenging and it was fun to work out the answers together. We are already planning to do the scavenger and “escape room” version in our home city when we return!

Perfect!
We spent the day doing the Cambridge Scavenger Hunt. It was a really fun and interesting way to explore the city - the app took a second for each audio clip to load but, once it did, it was perfect. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to ramble a city at their own pace but also come away with some knowledge!

Gamified History Walk
So great! Easy to use- the history of each stop along the way was brief but informative. I used Apple Maps instead of the in app map because I’m used to using it.
First time tourists in Lübeck
We did the "scavenger hunt" version of Lübeck and it was a good way to keep our teenage son more engaged with seeing the sights of the city. The riddles and questions were fairly shallow, but the text content seemed surprisingly good to me -- based on fact, but told in terms of urban legend so it felt light and interesting

Guided Exploration
It was great to see the sites of Innsbruck, Austria with a little bit of information. We didn’t know where exactly to go, but the tour highlighted ten key sites. It had trouble loading at times, but that has more to do with cell service in the country than with the functionality of the app.
The puzzles were easy enough to solve and feel proud of ourselves! We will definitely look for World City Trail games in other cities we visit.
