A ending I never wanted

In the hordes of turn based or auto battler gatcha games that exist there is was strange little game called World Flipper. Eventually even this review will disappear as to will the game in a month and a half.

Wildly untoxic and generous devs considering the genre of game we’re talking here. No need to have spent a penny to beat the main story, an engaging story with lots of side characters and interesting plot points.

You wouldn’t think a game could make playing pinball so consistently fun AND actually weave it into the literal lore of the game.

Add the fact that literally every character has alternative art. Yes even the lowest star ones.

I’m saddened and I know all games come to an end but I do so wish a paid, but offline version could be released. But I also understand no game can last forever without diluting itself and bloating to such proportions that it loses all sense of enjoyment.

I just hope Cygames and Kakao continue to put out amazing things like this in the future…I just wish it could be around a bit longer. I think if I can help it…I might never uninstall it or delete its icon.

A 4 month early farewell to you world flipper

I played this game on release and I loved it!
The pinball mechanics feel really well done with how most teams can work even if you aren’t paying attention to your leader skill
The odds for 5 stars aren’t bad either and even then most characters are REALLY good when optimized in a proper team
Although the reason I’m sad is because of the notice that on June 25 of 2024 this games service will end which means no more of one of my favorite mobile games and even then kakao you’ve made some gems but guardian tales is way to grindy for my liking but this feels balanced and enjoyable
So this my farewell to being a long time player since release thank you kakao for making this damm gem and maybe try making a more permanent version of this game since it’s amazing

Fantastic game! Just takes up a chunk of storage

I absolutely enjoyed playing the game! It had fun and vibrant characters and the gacha pulls are not nearly as greedy as other gacha games, and the cute pixelated pinball gameplay is unique and adorable.

Only gripe was that it took up several GB of storage. Didn't mind it too much when I obsessively played it, but when I started to focus on other games, it kinda had to go to make room.

Not very knowledgeable on game developer stuff, but if there's a way to have the game need less GB in storage, that would be fantastic! Will probably download again eventually regardless once I start missing the game lol

Do you miss dragalia // hear me out

Yes this is not dragalia lost but this is cygames at its finest again & here’s the kicker !!! Instead of being published by Nintendo you got Kakao games the lovely non toxic devs bringing you classics like guardians tales and eversoul .. i mean you even have the in game manga with new panels added all the time !! God I miss dragalia anyways I digress. I want to remind everyone that this is a mobile game that actually feels like a game and not a monotonous toxic grind. If you want to grind I’m sure you can find ways but just sit back and enjoy the story , play some events , pull some characters with all the huge amounts of currency they freely hand out combined with a daily free pull. I know people say a free daily pull wow ; well actually now days it is wow bc it used to be standard but I don’t see anyone doing it anymore … however it’s here. Regardless I doubt many will see this review but if you do and your looking for a game to have casual fun on your phone for 30-60 minutes a day ( less if you want ) … then try this … seriously when was the last time you played something on mobile that wasn’t a tUrN BaSeD hErO CoLlEcToR lol. Those other games aren’t going anywhere so if your not happy you can go back after however this game could use the support of more people showing appreciation for classic cygames / kakao mobile games.

The Best Gacha game

A Pinball adventure game that’s so much more than a pinball adventure game! Good plot, great character design (both the art&pixelated art) along with a cast of amazing voice actors.

It’s the best Gacha game I’ve ever played, and it’s kept me hooked in for over a year now.

Gacha is fair, and you get enough currency to roll for what you really need to. Since the global version follows the JP version, the advantage is that we know what characters are in the Gacha (and how strong they are) ahead of time, and we can plan accordingly.

Fair warning, progression isn’t that fast, but even without certain characters/weapons, there are lots of ways to build teams that work in certain stages/bosses. Check out the WF discord for helpful guides and team building, since they HELP A TON and make progression way easier and faster.
