Great game needs work
HAS THE WHOLE WORLD, LITERALLY
Response from developer
Thank you so much! Running into you on your first day was a real pleasure, and that's exactly why I love playing online with everyone. Finding your own city in the game is my favourite moment too, so I'm really happy it surprised you. Reviews like yours mean a lot. If anything ever looks wrong around your city, or if you have an idea, just tell me. See you on the road, or up in the air!
Interesting idea, lots of promise
The car driving is very basic, little more than a 3D exploration of Open SteetMap. I haven’t tried flying (the car did enough of that!) and only briefly experienced piloting a boat (the car turned into a boat when I drove into the ocean) but there’s enormous potential here for something amazing.
Focussing on the driving - the first thing that needs improving is the collision detection and how collisions are handled. At the moment the collisions are annoying, I can be driving at 160km/h and the car stops instantly if I’m less than about 2m from another vehicle.
It’s free to download and you have full access for the first 24 hours so download and see what you think. I shall watch this app with interest.

Thanks so much for this detailed feedback, Seamus! You're right about the collisions: stopping dead at 160 km/h from 2 m away isn't how it should feel, so that's going on my list. The world is real and very large, so there's plenty left to polish, and reviews like yours help me decide what comes first. If you get a chance during your 24 hours, try flying too, I'd love to hear what you think. Happy driving!
Improve Highways, Intersections & Road Textures
I really like World Simulation: Drive & Fly because it lets players explore the entire real world, including real roads, cities, and buildings. I want to suggest a major road-system improvement while keeping the existing real-world map and buildings.
**1. Realistic Highways**
- Improve highway layouts using real-world road data.
- Add realistic highway entrance and exit ramps, merging lanes, exit signs, and overpasses.
- Make interchanges more accurate, including cloverleaf interchanges, flyovers, and multi-level junctions.
- Ensure highways connect naturally to surrounding roads without awkward turns or broken connections.
**2. Better Intersections**
- Improve intersections to match real-world layouts.
- Add realistic traffic lights, stop lines, turning lanes, roundabouts, crosswalks, and road markings where appropriate.
- Fix intersections with strange angles, missing connections, or roads that overlap incorrectly.
- Make large city intersections and highway junctions look realistic from ground level and from the air.
**3. Higher-Quality Road Textures**
- Replace blurry, flat, or repetitive road surfaces with realistic asphalt textures.
- Add appropriate lane markings, dashed lines, solid lines, arrows, road edges, and worn pavement.
- Make road textures look natural at different distances without excessive repetition or flickering.
- Improve the appearance of highways, city streets, rural roads, bridges, and tunnels.
**4. Preserve the Real World**
Do not replace the world with a fictional map or generate a random city. Keep the existing global map, real-world roads, and actual building locations. Improve the road geometry, textures, markings, and connections using accurate geographic data wherever possible.
**5. Performance**
Optimize the improved roads for smooth driving and flying, with level-of-detail systems and efficient terrain rendering so the game remains playable across the entire world.
**Main Goal:** Keep what makes World Simulation: Drive & Fly special—the real entire world—but make driving on its highways, through intersections, and along roads feel much closer to a professional driving simulator.
Please investigate the current road-generation system first, then implement improvements without breaking existing maps, buildings, or navigation.

Thanks a lot for this detailed request! Good news: motorways already get lane lines, barriers, lighting and direction signs worldwide, and traffic lights, stop signs and crosswalks come from real data. Next on our list: real lane counts and turn arrows from map data, stop lines at junctions, proper roundabouts and a less repetitive asphalt texture. Complex multi-level interchanges are harder to get right everywhere from open data, but we keep improving them city by city. Keep the feedback coming! We're trying to make the game better and better every update! Thanks for being a user of World Simulation
Incroyable

Thanks a lot! Driving around your own neighborhood is one of my favorite things too. Next time, try flying over it or bringing friends along in multiplayer. Plenty more is coming in the next updates: new modes, new cars and more ways to explore. Enjoy the ride!
Juste incroyable
