It’s great having all these features but the adds every single time you switch around is overkill. The fantasy league is fun but it would be nice to clearly see your overall standing in your own club. There’s always some glitchy thing going on somewhere within the app as well… If it was an amateur app I’d give a higher rating but cmon just writing off people’s reviews is lazy… you got 2.5 stars overall for a reason

Fantasy is painful
Please fix fantasy. Why do I have to click through 3 stages to get to the main team section. So many UX issues

2 ads, over and over
While doing normal playback in full screen, you can’t go back to watching it in full screen after the second ad break for the most part without reloading the live view and watching the same 2 ads again, and again.
This has to be a sales point to their advertising sponsors - “we’ll make sure our fans accidentally watch your ad 10 more times by forcing a live watch reboot.”
Hard to remain a competition day fan/viewer when WSL takes advantage or just doesn’t give a rip about the playback experience.
I’d pay $10/yr for an ad-free experience as a single user. I don’t drink; so, 50% of your ads are really not hitting me.

Fix the playback
The only thing I can’t stand is the lack of an option to play the contest from the beginning like on YouTube. When the finals start and we are forced to watch on the app and happen to be in a different time zone or get a late start, we are hosed as we can’t start from the beginning. That makes it trash

Notifications not working properly.
I used to get notifications when heats and events were starting. Now I don’t get anything.
App barely works
Terrible live stream experience and never sends notifications for when heats start so am constantly missing events

I keep wanting to like this app and watch replays of heats but unfortunately when a commercial comes on mid heat the screen goes back to vertical and then won’t change back to horizontal without starting over. Keep Hopi g this gets fixed but never does.

Very poor app - heads need to roll
It’s just been such a poorly designed and managed app for over a decade now. They sort one thing out and then another key function breaks. Some heads really need to roll
It works, sometimes
It works sometimes but not very often. Very disappointing when you’re trying to keep track of heat results and your Fantasy team.
Bad got worse
The new fantasy update (2026) is so bad, starting with opening the fantasy section with “play now” dude I’m already playing, I just want to view my team and maybe update 1 surfer… oh you have to update your ENTIRE team to do that- including men’s and women’s and reselect your power surfer?? Did you even test this. Now don’t get me started on trying to stream an event. It’s like playing Operation because of your fat thumbs hit the wrong button, you’re gonna have to sit through another round of lame ads from Pacifico and 805.

Fantasy has bugs. The app logged me out and I can’t log back in. I’ll set and save my lineup’s only to fin out they don’t save.
