Pretty fun

Interesting battles, fun game.

Solid strategy

Graphics: Simple and clean. Nice hand-drawn style. The sprites have little animations when attacking. Upon my last review, the developer cleaned up some of the surrounding tiles, really adding to the overall presentation.

Gameplay: Solid and well balanced gameplay. It can be pretty challenging too, since missions come in sets with units that carry over between them. Sometimes it feels like that artificially expands the difficulty, but it works out as long as you're careful with your moves.

Controls: Overall pretty good. There's some awkward UI elements, mainly in navigating the missions map. Do I really need to press everything 2 or 3 times with fly-out menu buttons in order to start a stage? It doesn't hurt the game, but it doesn't work how most people would expect in the iOS environment.

Content: 21 missions, with multiple battles per mission is a decent amount of content. There's not a ton of unit variety, but enough to make strategy interesting, and they all feel unique. OpenFeint leaderboards for each mission are present, but it would be nice if there was a single board for overall score. Skirmish mode vs the AI or a friend adds a lot to extend the lifespan of the game. Online multiplayer would be ideal though.

Overall a solid turn-based strategy game. Nothing groundbreaking, but still fun. Worth a look for strategy fans.

Perfect!

What a perfect game for the iPhone! Campaign mode allows you to play in small bits, constant developer support makes a great game better! Artwork is stunning. Swords and Archers = tons of fun. Run don't walk to get this game!

Not bad

Needs retina though it gets very fuzzy zooming in.

Good

A good turned based game

Konkered

This game is fun if you like turn based strategy, good little battles and tactics since you may have a few fights per map area and survive all to progress. Graphics are good but the music could be better quality, sounds very compressed and shimmery. Apart from that it's worth a try, hope to see more updates too. Check Rebirth of Fortune too.....

Good potential

A bit generic but fun and i like the summoners ability to make units from scenery. Some deployment options on the campaign would be nice and the controls can be a bit fuzzy so either a zoom option or a fix would be nice.

Fun tactics!

Great fast-paced war game.
Worth it for the skirmish mode alone.

Bonne surprise

Ich will mein Geld zurück!!!

Watch out

This game actually blows, quite a bit. It's animated poorly and the gameplay is just plain dull. Frankly, I don't think these other reviews are about the same game (that, or they are posted by the developer's friends). $4? No no.

Not happy

This game has the potential to be good, but the game itself is too slow. It takes forever to win a match and after 3 battles it was just too boring. The idea behind this game is interesting, but it isn't put to it's full potential. I do not believe this game was worth $3.99

Fun

My fav app

A very dull experience

I wanted to love it, but I constantly had to push myself to even keep playing. There is no way to compare this to any good tactics game today. No positioning, no elevation, no loot, no progression/experience, boring classes, to slow to get going, no meta game of any kind. There just isn't much here. The interface is obnoxious (why even show two buttons if I can only use one??), and everything is slow. The graphics are nice (not retina from what I can tell), but ultimately I feel I wasted my money.

Phenomenal game!

I'd quickly like to address the review before mine: I haven't lost a battle yet and the game hasn't crashed on me once.

Right, well World to Conquer is an incredibly addicting experience. It's a strategy game that truly stands among the best of the genre. Seriously, I have no problem comparing it favorably to games like FF Tactics and others.

The writer definitely had an ear for dialogue, which is refreshing for this genre, and the tile-based gameplay has everything going for it that you could expect.

There is a very unique twist that makes every turn feel vitally important: every battle consists of multiple skirmishes. After the initial tutorial fight, the player must think very carefully about his moves because he won't be getting any reinforcements for the remaining skirmishes of that chapter. So be careful with your archers, losing them is like losing a queen in chess.

The game almost feels like a board game brought to animated life. Its complex at it's core, yet easy to pick up. The artwork is well done, and character models look sharp (that's one of a couple ways that this game actually trumps others of this type). The music, likewise is very fitting and enjoyable.

You can tell that this indie development team went at this project with passion. It definitely shows. Easily worth five stars, and far more valuable than a measly four bucks. I got this game with a promo code, but liked it so much I bought it anyway just to support the devs and so I could write this review. I'm very much looking forward to the next game by Easy 8.
