Good but it deserves better

This game could be so fun if proper AI is implemented. Now there is no regatta rules implemented so all the opponents just rush from mark to mark colliding randomly. Sail power also does not have sense. This should be replaced by sails trim (adjusted to the wind direction by the player).
So please:
Remove yacht collision
Remove sail power (or replace leeway)
Add basic racing rules (right of way)
Add penalties
Add sails trim

I would buy this game then :)

Potentially a very good game but keeps freezing on me and I get stuck in the yacht sales area. The physics when two boats run into each other is plucked as well. Get these sorted and I’ll be back

Nice game! Would be 5 stars if the competitor boats had some rules for right of way.

Well done

Not a bad way to kill some time. Good variety of skill challenges. Points seem to not update or are not really implemented. No right of way rules. Boat choice is confusing but invites experimentation.

Fun game mostly

There are only two yachts in the race with different stats but you can buy more for different... colours??? Also physics are a bit weird for collisions

Keeps crashing. Please fix

This is a great game. Payouts need to be a little bigger but the biggest problem is the game keeps crashing wont load. Please please fix

Has potential, but too hard to control

This could be a fun game for us yachties, but there are some major bugs in it.
Every time I play it it crashes and ai have to reinstall. Happened so much I've given up.
Tried emailing developer but no reply. Disappointing as this game has so much potential.

World yacht racer review - rip off

Downloaded this and there's a cost of $200 to buy a boat. No free or starter yachts. Crazy. I suppose some idiot will spend the money. I didn't bother and deleted the app. The App Store needs a good sailing game and I guess there's still only C wind that works. Try that.

Every new player in the game receives enough credits to purchase their first yacht for free at the start of the game. There are not any in-game purchases, just credits awarded for racing, or watching Ads. Thanks for your feedback, we are continuously improving and making a better experience for sailing enthusiasts.

Not bad so far

I like the interface. The way the boat will go off course of you don't tend the helm is realistic.
Can't seem to buy a spinnaker despite having enough CR in the bank. And now it's crashed and won't start so I've deleted it.

Will reload and see if that's fixed it.
