User reviews

Pretty interesting

I basically had the experience as the previous guy wrote a review. Not sure what was going on but the game is pretty intriguing nonetheless.

Response from developer

Thanks for the review - and yeah - hope to make it a bit more understandable as time goes on ^__^

Exceptional

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel the devs deserve a big thumbs up for this one. Very deep, fun to play and stocked with things to do. Well done!

Response from developer

Thanks so much @jonny! Was definitely a crazy journey making WS and hoping that we get enough resources to develop season 2 and keep expanding!

A masterpiece in the making!

This game is truly a masterpiece in the making. I love figuring out the perfect combination of armor and cards to build a good deck. The events are all witty, and I enjoy the real-world element with the different biomes. It still needs some improvements, though. The dungeons feel very large and slow to navigate. The game was quite hard to get used to, especially with all the card mechanics and the energy system. Additionally, having different areas level up separately can be quite frustrating. Overall, I think it’s a great game—once you understand how it works.

Thanks so much for the kind words, and yeah - definitely got a bit of smoothing / polish to go, and hoping to sand down the rough edges so the core experience is more accessible :)

First thoughts

I may be just stupid but I was so confused about everything that was going on right away, but after playing a bit, I kinda understood it.

First love the whole idea and the design of the game, I’d definitely recommend playing it, so main reason I’m not saying 5 start is like I said, it’s confusing I had no idea how the whole combat system works until like the 2nd fight but they try the best to explain it, I like how you can explore outside of just the place your at which makes it a lot easier and more fun, I don’t like that moving around on the map is only for a limited time and they you have to wait, same with the health, I may just be a short attention span person but I don’t like games as much with “energy” like things, but I get it that game makers have to make money somehow especially on a free game. So it’s not the worst just like I’ll still play games with an “energy” like thing but hate when I can’t enjoy the game when I can’t do anymore things.

I played for 30 minutes but was about to sleep so I don’t have a ton of gameplay hours but it was definitely confused about the whole game since there’s not really much direction, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but maybe might need to figuring out someway to explain the combat, items, hud, and all of that.

But overall a good game and I’m sure it’s an enjoyable when I get a little more time. But also limited or free stuff is always the best in these newish games, so hope something will be made for this…

Response from developer

Thanks for the review - and I definitely have some improvements to make on onboarding and tutorials - I'm glad it's at least been fun in the mean time and feel free to share any feedback you have on the story or card game balancing!

It’s a great game

Pretty good game but with one down side I have the iPhone 16 and it overheats if you play for a while if you can figure out the problem, I know it’s not my phone. I play with other games and it doesn’t overheat. Please fix.

Response from developer

Good call out - Unity and iOS have had a few hiccups, and we're diving into optimizations ASAP!
