About

How loud should church worship be? Your church sets the limit. Worship SPL keeps the record. Keep an iPhone at the mixer during the service. Worship SPL shows the 15-minute average at the center of the seating area, compares it with your church's limit, and saves a one-page report your whole sound team can see. Stop guessing whether Sunday was too loud, and whether the stage or the mains made it that way. Live levels and the 15-minute average are free. A subscription adds service logs and reports, team sharing, Stage Volume Check, and Position Correction. SERVICE MONITOR - Live level and the 15-minute average - Time over the limit your church chooses - Logs each service and makes a one-page PDF report to share SHARE WITH YOUR TEAM - Invite your sound team through iCloud - Everyone sees the same limit, position correction, checks, and service logs - Invited members view for free with their own Apple Account STAGE VOLUME CHECK During rehearsal, mute only the mains at the times the app shows. The iPhone at the center of the seating area compares mains off and on in each frequency band, three times. You see where the mains add a lot, and where they add little because the stage is already loud. - 1/3-octave bands from 63 Hz to 16 kHz - Repeats three times and tells you when the results don't agree - Saves each check to your church's record and marks bands that differ from your usual POSITION CORRECTION - If your mixer isn't in the middle of the room, measure a correction once with pink noise, one step per screen - After that, the iPhone at the mixer estimates the level at the center of the seating area CALIBRATION - Calibrate once with a sound level meter (A-weighting, Slow) to read your level in dB - Without calibration, levels are relative. The checks still compare mains off and on with the same iPhone. FREE AND SUBSCRIPTION - Free: live levels and the 15-minute average - Subscription (monthly or yearly, 14-day free trial for new subscribers): service logs and reports, inviting your team, Stage Volume Check, and Position Correction Audio is analyzed on your iPhone. It is not recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. Only the levels, checks, and service logs are saved, and when you share with your team they go to your church's iCloud record. What's New in Worship SPL

1.5

October 18, 2026

• Your service log is saved every minute. If the app closes during a service, you can save or discard that log the next time you open it. • The 15-minute average keeps going after the microphone briefly stops. The time with no measurement is shown in the PDF report. • New Dim button while logging, for dark sanctuaries. • "Right now" on Home now uses the same seating position correction as Service Monitor.
