This update improves gameplay variety, reliability, personalization, and adds new account, submission, and sharing features. SMARTER GAMEPLAY • Questions now load in a truly randomized order, reducing repeats. • Skipped questions no longer count as answered and only reappear after all new questions are seen. • Answer tracking is more reliable across all categories. DAILY PUZZLE IMPROVEMENTS • The Daily Puzzle now stays consistent throughout the day instead of refreshing. • Each user receives a Daily Puzzle that may differ from other users. • The app remembers the Daily Puzzle and the user’s answer for the entire day. • Once answered, the Daily Puzzle is locked and cannot be voted on again. • Improved handling when the user is not signed in, using a stable device-based identity. ACCOUNT & SUBMISSIONS • You can now create an account to submit your own “Would You Rather” questions. • A new “My Submissions” section shows all questions you’ve submitted. • Submissions clearly display their status: Pending, Approved, or Rejected. • Approved questions automatically appear in the game once reviewed. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS • Push notifications alert you when one of your submitted questions is approved. • Notifications now reliably open the app directly to the approved puzzle. NEW SHARING & DEEP LINKING • You can now share puzzles outside of Instagram Stories using system share sheets. • Shared links open directly to the correct puzzle inside the app when installed. • “Open in App” buttons now correctly launch the app instead of just opening the website. IMPROVED PREMIUM EXPERIENCE • The Premium screen has been redesigned with a cleaner, more modern look. • Each Premium feature now includes a clear title, description, and icon. • Premium users can pin up to 6 favorite categories, while free users can pin up to 2. CLEANER CATEGORY BROWSING • Updated category visuals with refreshed gradients, badges, and layouts. • Optional category puzzle counts can now be enabled in Settings. • Pinned categories reorder and update more intuitively. MORE PERSONALIZATION • New gradient styles for question cards. • Additional font options including Rounded, Serif, and Monospaced. • New app tint color options that sync across devices using iCloud. IMPROVED SETTINGS & ADS • Shake-to-Skip is now clearly labeled as a Premium feature with an on/off toggle. • Resetting answered puzzles now fully clears progress. • Ads appear at more predictable intervals for non-premium users. STABILITY & PERFORMANCE • Fixed crashes related to deep links, notifications, and app launch flows. • Smoother animations, better light/dark mode support, and overall performance improvements.
