Why the constant consent to terms?
I love this app but two things really annoy me. The first is how long it takes to load. The second is every time I long on I have to agree the app terms. Why? Set it for once and done. That part is the most annoying aspect of the app. If these two issues were eliminated I give it 5 stars.
Keeps crashing
I’ve had this app for years & this morning the app has crashed about 5 times just trying to watch the local news. Multiple times in the past videos won’t load & it keeps saying playback error. This app is getting worse & worse over the tears. Can someone do something & fix it!
Terrible app and auto ad
I refuse to open the app anymore. You’re always greeted by a Providence Auto Body ad and I will never ever recommend that place due to how intrusive it is.
Poorly managed app
Followed directions perfectly and it’s a no go, sign up again and again and again. How about you fix the app!!!!! Live stream

If you hide an interesting news notification accidentally by swiping it left, good luck with trying to find it in the app.
CAN’T REWIND VIDEOS
This is not a new app, I’m not sure why we are not able to rewind a video even 10 seconds… I have no other choice but to go on YouTube to watch stuff. Ridiculous… Might as well delete the app if that’s the case.
Unusable on the iPad.
Have used for years and was fine. Most recent update to “fix bugs and improve general performance” has made it unusable on the iPad. Unable to read any article if there is associated video. Have deleted it and moved to a different local news station.
Bad Update
Glitchy. Can’t load any other stories or go into settings to prevent auto-play forum happening.
APP no longer working
I used this app for over 11 Years. Over past week no longer works suddenly asking for info as to location & fill in zip code continue & press & nothing happens can’t get into App no news available Very disappointed my favorite news station no longer works Have to use Channel 10 this APP works fine To bad always watched Channel 12 for 30 years so in Winter when not home in RI No Channel 12 APP WPRI working

This is terrible, I can’t get past the notifications and just use the app. When the screen asks me to sign up I don’t check any and then I can’t get back to the app. Guess I’ll be watching 10News
What happened?
Latest version immediately crashes when I open it. Please fix.
By all means not perfect but gets me the weather most times
App could be better if it actually worked all the time when it’s supposed to. I’ll be watching the live broadcast when it just starts and one story later it stops. Sometimes restarting it helps sometimes it doesn’t. By now you’d think the app had it together. Wish it would give me the entire broadcast the bits of it. When it works, it works. Frustrating!

Won’t work
I can’t load no feed. It will bring to the page and not let me scroll. I can’t use my app and it’s aggravating. Fix this!!!

While I love the content and format, the app is completely glitchy. More often than not pages freeze

The Worst!
This, by far, is one of the worst news apps on the Apple platform. Slow loading, giant ads, videos that take forever to load and won’t close. I just want to read the local news, not be bombarded with unwanted, intrusive content and ADS.

Awful app, loaded with advertisements! From the autobody app in the beginning to the lady with the low cut shirt baiting me to click. What a joke news WPRI is when all they care about is ad’s and not the news.

You’ve turned an adequate news app into a jumbled, annoying mess. And somehow made the intrusive, repetitive Providence Autobody ad even more annoying.
