Touch stops working
Touch controls for inventory and scrolling down break the game. Sometimes when I start a game it works but it also will cut out preventing even a save

Finished game with 500 points in one hour, three minutes, and nine seconds.
Great game from my childhood to revisit, but….
Upon downloading the game for the very first time on my iPhone 12 mini, it ran fine. I was able to start a new game and played for a few minutes.
However, each subsequent time I’ve tried to open the game, it gets past the loading screen and then the menu screen keeps flickering and crashing. Have tried deleting and reinstalling the game, still the same thing happens. I can never get back into the game.

I didn’t get what the deal was in the first few scenes, but then I caught on to the humor and the challenge.

There’s so much to explore, looks very accurate in mythology, the graphics may not look good to most people, but for me I like games like this

Muito massa ver um jogo mobile que reusa as animações/interações no estilo Mortal Kombat, com uma leve estética de Civilization + Minty Python. É bem humorado e divertido, mas bem difícil as vezes. Estou presa na tela de “lunch break” desde cedo, e não consigo sair, por isso o 4 estrelas.

*** UPDATE: Issue is 90% fixed! Way less than before, still happens occasionally but if so, an app restart and returning later works for me . Now to actually win the game. It’s so good but hard even with Info!

Yes, it’s true what some other reviewers say (a black screen won’t open after the second time the app is loaded) — but there are workarounds , for example, keep your phone charged from rebooting and never swipe up to quit the app so it’s always in memory from the first open, or deliberately open it on that weekend day you decide to binge on it all day. Incredible acting talent , interactive story that follows the tests of morality and wisdom that one on a heroes journey had go through in Ancient Greece. It’s a historic classic and a shame that Return to Zork had more acclaim and awareness than, since this beats it in every way.

Too many glitches!
I’m trying to play this game on a 9th Generation iPad, but wasn’t able to go to any locations after the introduction.
A flashing sort of a cursor in the form of the 4 Cardinal Direction with a circle about midway from the center. I couldn’t move it with either my finger or my 1st Generation Apple Pencil.
When I tried to tap on any locations in any of the quadrants nothing happened.
I closed the game and went to a different game.
When I tried to make a go at it again the screen was dark! I know other players have had similar problems, but these problems should have been fixed universally by now.
It’s aggravating and downright annoying.
Can you fix these continuing issues once and for all?
I know I won’t be the last new frustrated player…

Review update
Updated review: the developer put out an update that has seemed to fix the issues I was having! Appreciate being able revisiting such a huge game from my childhood. A classic and charming adventure game definitely worth checking out.
Wrath of the Gods on my phone!
What a rush to play this classic computer game on a new device! Initially I encountered download issues but those have been resolved in the latest update and it’s now working perfectly! This is an involved game so I was relieved to see that I can save my progress and then even get a code to pick up where I left off on my computer. Now there’s nothing left to do but regain my kingdom!

Entertaining dialogue
The new update fixed the issue where the app wasn’t loading for me. So far it’s an enjoyable, light game with a good sense of humor in the dialogue.
