Empower’s better
Pointless
Tried multiple times to request. See drivers on the map (apparently at home because the same car is there no matter day and night) and could never get a ping, regardlss of there ‘being drivers in the area’. Had it for a year and never had a driver accept. It was a waste of time for me
Edit: Just realized they deactivated my account which tbh im thankful for but instead of fixing the issues, they’d rather deactivate accounts lol. Good riddance

Unusable because
IT IS SO SLOW
PAY HIGHER THAN QUOTED
Your card is charged right away not even pending and they charge you more than what they show you. Not transparent at all. Very scam like even
Re
Waited over a hour didn’t get any ride
Lack of follow up on overcharge
With my traveling job I typically use Uber and Lyft to and from the airport. One of the Lyft drivers actually introduced me to the app because she works for them. I tried it because she has been nothing but a saint every time I ride with her.
My first time using the application I applied my Amex and requested the ride, before we left the airport the ride stated my fair would be 30+ dollars. Fast forward to me arriving home, settling in, checking in with my family. Maybe 40 minutes after being home, I notice its showering I am still in this ride. I immediately contacted support and the driver, i did realize I had a missed call from her. She stated the app would not let me out of my ride. I informed her that I noticed the same and I already contacted support, she apologized and let me know it would be sorted out. The contact with “Support” went on for over a MONTH with no resolution. I reached out a few times due to their lack of communication. In the end I was stuck with a $60+ charge that should’ve been $30.

Great idea in theory
I would much rather the drivers get a larger chunk here than the other options. It appears they can't go to the airport. So I've tried several times to try to get a ride to a light rail station & it appears no one wants to pick people up unless it's going to certain places. I get it but, it's a service industry. You have to take some rides you don't want. In my case you lose a 50% tip. The last one I just tried to book they actually would've got 100% tip. That's my budget for getting to the airport even if it's through the light rail. Hope it works out but I'm not bothering again. 5th attempt to use in msp. app scanned my card & populated a mysterious experatiom daye & went right to get me a ride that never comes. can i get back to correct my card while i wait n wait? no. can i delete the card? no. does this app have a ton of daya on me now? yes. if you live in the Minneapolis area and need to get anywhere. forget it. I'm surrounded by drivers and no one will come. I do not trust this app

Good Prices
I was quoted a price of around $13 on Wridz. With Lyft and Uber, it would’ve been about $30. I really appreciate the prices, but there needs to be an option to schedule and book a ride ahead of time. With there being very few drivers, the wait time can be extremely long. Without the assurance of being able to book a ride a head of time, this kind of makes it obsolete for things like work, appointments, and flights.
It also appears that they aren’t responding to reviews where people have had issues, never reply to emails, the app is always crashing.. etc. Fixing all of these issues could make a world of difference.

I’m a driver and love that we get paid 100% of the fare!

The app had an error when registering to become a driver.
This app doesn’t compare to Lyft and Uber.
I found out about this app because I took a Lyft and the driver was promoting this app claiming that it would be cheaper than Uber and Lyft because they do not charge surge pricing. I downloaded it and next time I wanted to order a Lyft I compared the price for the same ride on both apps. Not only was the ride not cheaper on Wridz, it was actually slightly more expensive. The driver who recommended the app to me drives for Lyft and this app. It’s clear that he was trying to promote this app to Lyft customers to poach them and get them to start using this app instead. The rides aren’t cheaper, there are no discounts, so how do they expect to compete with other taxi apps. It doesn’t make sense.

Don’t recommend
Had a Uber driver recommended this service to us while we were riding with her so we tried it later that day. We got the same driver from earlier accept our drive request and she text me that she couldn’t fulfill our request because she was busy tracking care of personal business… why even accept our request then? Tried asking for another driver after that and nobody would accept. Wouldn’t recommend.

Issue with qualification
“At least one issue was reported by Crimcheck”. No full information on their website for drivers qualification and they’re declining the application process just for one record (failing stop sign) about two years ago! That’s unacceptable because nobody is perfect in this world! Anyway Uber and Lyft are going better and our future is bright ahead with Uber and Lyft!

Works great
Wridz just launched in Minneapolis, so I gave it a shot. I was quoted a little over half the cost of the same ride by Lyft and booked the trip. Wait was under ten minutes and the driver was great. It was his first day, but he appreciated that he keeps more of the ride cost than from the big two. I also like that the app shows how much of the fare the driver gets.
I’ll definitely use this again.

Unusable App
I created account, added my email, a password, used the verification email to get on the app. Then I wanted to examine the app so I tried to sign back on. It won’t happen. It gave me an error message which happened so fast that I couldn’t get a screenshot. I emailed the company and have not received a reply.

Buggy, slow, and ancient
The app crashed my first three time trying to start it. On the fourth try, it started … after 31 seconds of thinking about it. Then crashed during account setup.
Lousy, not ready for riders, feels like it was created in 2004, not 2024. I wouldn’t trust it with my personal info.

Fix bugs
It's hard set up ride, why it doesn't automatically enter my pick up location like Lyft other than that.
The app seem revolutionary giving drivers 100% fare I stand with that.
