What's New in Wrist Tuner
2.0
October 29, 2026
Version 2 turns Wrist Tuner into a practice kit on your Apple Watch. • Ear training: eight topics, each opening with an example of every answer, then a set of ten questions, with a daily ring and a streak. Higher or lower has a second level: is the note sharp, flat or in tune, from 50 cents down to 10. • A metronome you feel: a click and a tap on your wrist on every beat, the tap timed to land with the click, and it keeps going with your wrist down, each beat lit on the dimmed screen. • Guitar chord chart: 468 chords, 39 chord types in all 12 keys, with inversions and slash chords, playable shapes easiest first, with finger numbers. • Tunings and capo: standard, drop D, D standard, Eb, open G, open D, DADGAD or your own; the capo moves the shapes for you. • Type a chord symbol, like F#m7b5 or Bb/D, and go straight to it. • Chord progressions in any key, played for you to practice over. • The circle of fifths: turn the Crown through the keys, see each key's signature and its seven chords, and open its scale, chords or progressions in one tap. • Scale positions on the guitar, each note lit on the fretboard as it plays: five positions for every scale, thirteen scales in every key. • Pick the sound for scales and chords: three guitar tones or a recorded grand piano, played detached, legato or with the pedal. • A reference note and a drone on any note. • The tuner follows your guitar tuning: pick drop D, DADGAD or another, and it shows each string, the nearest one lit. • An Ear training card in the Smart Stack with today's ring and your streak. The tuner stays free. The metronome and every practice tool open with one purchase. Try one ear-training set today.
