About

Wristmote turns your Apple Watch into a remote for your TV and your Sky Q box, and your gestures into buttons. GESTURES • Twist your wrist right or left to change channel • Flick it like a magic wand for power • Raise or lower your arm to turn the volume up or down with a TV, or to move through menus Gestures work only while Wristmote is open on your wrist, and you choose what each one does. CALIBRATED TO YOU Perform each gesture a few times and Wristmote adapts to the way you move. A quick check of everyday movements shows whether anything would trigger by mistake. SKY Q AND YOUR TV, TOGETHER Use it with a Sky Q box, a Samsung or LG smart TV, or both. With both, volume and mute go to the TV, power to both, and everything else to the box. A REMOTE ON IPHONE TOO Arrows, OK, back, home, channels, playback and volume, on both iPhone and Apple Watch. NO SETUP Wristmote finds your box and TV on your Wi‑Fi by itself; the TV asks you once to accept it. No account, no ads, no tracking: commands go straight from your iPhone to your devices over your home network. REQUIREMENTS • A Sky Q box (Sky Q Mini works too) and/or a Samsung or LG smart TV on the same Wi‑Fi as your iPhone. TVs from 2018 onwards are found automatically; older ones can be added by IP address • iPhone with iOS 18 or later; Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later for gestures • The Apple Watch sends commands through the iPhone, which must be nearby • A TV in standby can't be switched on over the network; with a Sky Q box, the box turns it on through HDMI Wristmote is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Sky, Samsung or LG. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
