Write upgrade
I have used the write app on my iPhone for several years. I have always been hesitant to upgrade iOS , but did so. Now write app will not work on my phone. I don’t wish to lose the information in the app. What can be done?

I like all of the options for writing . All of the fonts and background images that are available make it quite fun . Though the ads feel pretty evasive . There's got to be a better way to advertise . Having a full commercial pop up while you might be in the middle of your thoughts is very distracting , and counter productive if you like writing stories .

Trash Can Problem
I’ve been using this app for years and I’ve been trying to open up the trash can recently to retrieve some files but it keeps crashing. And it doesn’t let me delete the “emergency” file that pops up every time I open it. Please, please fix this. I want to back up all my work! Otherwise, this app is pretty goodZ

There is no writing programme. It’s about advertising. It’s time you stopped false advertising. There is no writing app there.

Acheté en 2012, ça allait bien au début. Gros avantage: tu fais une recherche et le résultat inclut les contenus, pas seulement les titres!
Mais avec les années, l'application est devenue instable. Tu veux détruire un fichier et l'application se ferme... pas terrible. Je suis en train de tout migrer vers Pages, pas le choix.

I was getting to really feel this was the best app of its kind, then, SUDDENLY, I WAS TOLD TO LOOK AT THE "PRO" VERSION; unfortunately I was told the Pro Version is not compatible with my iPad. Oh OK, I just went back to try to use the original version, BUT IT WOULD NOT DO SO! So, I was able to write three sentences (VERY LIGHT DEVELOPER MEANS?). Three sentences and then no more compatible. Oh My, what will I ever do now? Well, what I did right on and deleted the app. So sorry!Too bad!

I use this once a year to write my christmas lists because it is PIN protected and my kids can't see it. It now does not work at all and my PIN will not open it. Will the developer please contact me and advise how to fix Thank you. Link to develop is empty tumblr site.

I paid for the full version of write...and guess what? I could write ANYTHING! When I clicked "new file" NOTHING HAPPENED! So I got this, and I can only make 5 files!! THIS IS CRAP!
Don't get, no updates
The developer is weeks behind on the update for the original Write app with the iOS9 update. Assume the same for this, don't expect it to work and show you your data after an update!!!
Finally simple not sync across devices
FINALLY a win! How hard can it be to get a note app that is simple to use, like the default notepad, that syncs across devices(with diff people)?! Very. I have tried so many other apps and they all fail. Evernote for example, the poster child for notes, is overly burdensome, difficult to use (simple typing even) and syncing of the same notes on diff devices causes conflicts where things disappear and override each other. But this app uses Dropbox to sync, and each sync overrides the old one on ALL devices that have the same Dropbox account instantly, i.e. as soon as I finish modifying my note, the file shows a blue syncing symbol indicating activity, like in Dropbox, then a green check mark that it's done. Now my wife, wherever she is, will see the update to my grocery list too. Sounds easy, well let me tell u I've been looking for years for this. I don't want to chose themes, select categories, create checkmarks, find my notes hidden amongst a plethora of menus, or be bothered by fanciness. This app has what I want, no full version needed, well maybe to get rid of ads. I know notepad syncs across devices but that's only the ones using the same Apple ID/iCloud but who wants to share all the same settings/apps with another person? I just want this one thing to be synced. Dropbox doesn't have a text editing feature otherwise I would just use that. Trust me I have tried most everything, this works for simple syncing across different devices!
