DOES NOT TEACH 'TRADITIONAL' CURSIVE

If you are looking for an app to teach your child to write the cursive you learn I'm grammar school, this is NOT IT. This app teaches a Cyrillic font, not the traditional D'Nealian script font used in American schools.

Discouraging to kids

We tried this app as a supplement to my 9yros cursive curriculum. First, the cursive used is unlike any of the traditional or contemporary styles I've seen available in cursive curriculum. Secondly, the write must have their line follow the example precisely. If the students line strays ever so slightly it is marked with an x. This is incredibly discouraging to beginning writers. Lastly, as an adult with pretty good cursive (I was taught by nuns)I found it almost impossible to get my line to match that of the example precisely. You would be better off having your child use one of the doodling apps to trace letters you make. don't waste your time or money on this app.

Deleting this app!

Deleting this app after the 1st use- you can't have a writing app that teaches incorrect letter formation! The 'a' isn't even close. Also failed to mention that only the first 7 letters of the alphabet are included. All other letters are locked and require purchase of full version. Not gonna happen.

Not standard curriculum format

Concept is neat but some of the printed and written letter formats are not the accepted format taught in Canadian curriculum. It would be a set back for young ones to learn these formats and then have to relearn them in Kindergarten and Grade One. This app would be perfect for an older child or anyone looking to put a new fun spin on their printing or handwriting.

It is so educational. My son just love it writing the alphabet. But really, that is the only facilities for the apps. Here is some improvement for $1 apps: More facilities

Thank you for design this apps.

Idea is cute but can't use this app!

I just tried two cursive letters...a and b. the formation is not how it's taught in school. Based on these two letters, I will not look into this app further.

I hate it

I hate this game it is so boring and ........

Not recommended

Printed "a" should not be hand written that way, and the cursive font is far too decorative for a child who is only just learning to write.

Don't bother

Falsely advertised!! Only has a, b and c or you have to pay!!! Waste of time ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Pretty good

App is good. Can you do one with numbers
