Hi Bran, thank you for your feedback on our pricing of continued use of the app beyond the offered free trial. First off, we appreciate you taking the time to write and share your thoughts with us. It’s undoubtedly true that billion-dollar companies have created the trend of releasing free apps, and other companies even resorting to violating your privacy by selling your data that you input into such apps to make money, creating an environment where consumers like yourself have (understandably) come to expect apps to come for cheap, or even free. This environment has also somewhat been a large driver behind why apps such as games built to be time-wasting, addictive money spinners are doing so well in app stores, with developers heavily incentivized to make such apps due to the nature of the size and profitability of those markets. There unfortunately isn’t a billion or even million-dollar company behind WriteMapper, nor do we do things like sell your data to make money. We’ve priced the app with the sustainability of the app in mind, allowing to update, maintain and improve the app over time. We thank all paying customers of ours for supporting us and helping us keep the app going. We also made sure to intentionally price the app as a one-time purchase, as opposed to a recurring subscription fee, which you might have been observing to have been becoming more and more commonplace nowadays - in the knowledge that one-time purchases are vastly preferred by consumers instead of a recurring cost.
