Writing Room Rocks!
A Writing Room is the best community ever for those who are writers and wish to develop a writing practice. It is an online digital community full of extremely supportive people who are really cheering each other on. The instructors and resources they provide are extraordinary! Most sessions are recorded so that you can actually watch them later over and over again. Silent writing provides writers opportunities to write silently with other writers in community, providing a structure for success.

No experience
Not sure what the point of this app is. I have been waiting 3 weeks for approval and nothing has happened, despite numerous updates to the app being made, so SOMEONE is working on it? I don't understand why there is an approval process anyway, nor what I need to do to get approved faster. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Connection to the Best Writing Community
This app is my most frequently used. For members of A Writing Room, this is your connection to the community from your mobile devices. The app is already great and improving all the time. Connects me to live events, recordings in the ever expanding course library, private messaging with other members, community chat salon, and the feedback arena.

Too much ai.
A quick peek at their website to justify the $700 a year cost — was disappointing. So much AI art, and for an app like this? Absolutely not. Have you any shame as a creative?
Pointless to download
When you can’t access anything about it beyond a request to join, there’s zero point in using the app, especially when one of the questions to join is “did you buy a ticket to our expo” essentially making the app hidden behind a paywall.
Amazing community
This is way more than an App - it’s like finding family to engage with and get to know. The creators of the App are personally involved. There are daily writing prompts, opportunities for feedback, silent writing times, access to great speakers from past retreats and much more. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Everything I wish I had when I started out as a writer
I started writing professionally about thirteen years ago. Like most beginning writers, I was isolated, full of self doubt, neurotic, and scared that I wouldn’t have what it takes.
I read stacks of books about writing and made my way through the first awkward stage, but I always wished there could be a supportive community, resources, and guidance to lend accountability, motivation, and connection with others in this strange craft.
Enter A Writing Room …
This is a writer’s dream come true.
