I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my experience with the wrkman app was so infuriating that I feel compelled to warn others. The premise of this app sounds promising—connecting users with skilled workers for quick and efficient services. Unfortunately, the reality is the complete opposite.
Here’s a breakdown of why this app is an absolute disaster:
1. Poor Vetting of Workers
The app claims to connect you with “trusted professionals,” but the workers I encountered were anything but reliable. One contractor left a job half-done, then demanded more money to finish it. Worse, when I contacted support, they shrugged it off as a “miscommunication.”
2. Payment System is a Trap
Once you make a payment through the app, consider your money gone. I paid in full for a service that was either incomplete or poorly done, and when I tried to get a refund, I was stonewalled. The app conveniently has no clear refund policy or consumer protection measures.
3. Terrible Customer Support
Speaking of support, prepare to feel ignored. The customer service team is slow to respond and, when they finally do, they offer nothing but generic responses. It felt like they were more interested in protecting the workers on their platform than resolving my concerns.
4. Fake Reviews
Before using wrkman, I noticed glowing reviews for many of the workers listed. After my experience, I strongly suspect most of these reviews are fake. The disparity between the promises on their profiles and the services delivered is staggering.
