New app sucks
New app layout is ok but they took away the swipe back gesture out of the app. Makes navigation wayyy annoying having to tap the arrow at top of screen each time.
Can’t clear alerts.
Grrr. Can’t get rid of the red alerts on my phone. Always showing “new alerts “ in red but all old. I Hate that.

Low confidence
The last thing I want is another app on my phone. WSAW news app was changed and eliminated the Home Screen which was my go to , to find what I needed on the app. Radar is gone; saddens me. Closings are gone, or difficult to find; haven’t found it yet,. Ultimately I will probably delete this app from my phone and use the the default weather app I my phone. WSAW you were once my favorite, but all the changes you’ve been making I have low confidence in you.

Does not open - cannot use it
The app gives you notifications but seldom if ever opens. I tried to see if there was an update to fix but there isn’t one. I’m going to delete it again. I hope they fix the issues soon so it can actually be used.

The last couple of updates have claimed to “fix bugs” yet this app won’t do anything but crash, on any of our family apple devices… :( :(

Doesn’t work at all. Sits on opening screen, endlessly “loading”. Been like that for months no matter the update.

Crashes every time when you try to go into the news section. Kind of worthless when a news app won’t let you see the news.
Had enough !
This app has blasted me with enough ads! The video ads that auto play at the splash screen using my data without a click off button makes me very angry. It’s a little too aggressive for me. Also the news is not updated enough. Deleted this app!

Looks like it’s time to find a new news source as the app is horrendous and I’m not wasting time with a live broadcast. Now only if there was as many news stories and they worked as well as all the advertisements do.
New app is terrible
The new app is bad. Really bad. More news stories that are a day old than new stories. Old news is a good way to become irrelevant. Really liked this app before the changes. Now looking for a better news app. Stevens Point resident.
Me likes words think
The astronomical amount of errors found in the stories on this "news" app is nearly unbelievable. There is apparently no editing or spellcheck available, and I would be surprised if the "reporters" even finished third grade, let alone received a degree.
Ok, so I wrote the original review years ago. Nothing about this app is improved in any way, I think it’s actually gotten worse. The latest update takes you out of the app, to the WSAW website, which would be fine if over half the stories I clicked on were actually there. I keep getting 404 errors.
Someone please fix this. Also, hire some people with writing skills. The errors are atrocious.

Crashes every time I open
I still get news banners. But when I slide to open them it loads for a second and crashes.
And there is no update to fix this.. it have been months..

I have sports unchecked and they send out stuff about the Packers winning or losing as breaking news.
