at one time this was a fairly decent app to get local news. now it’s an advertisements with news thrown in. the app is not at all user friendly….. you have to hunt for local stories.
Fix It
Horrible, app freezes on tv, can’t even close it until it’s ready to close. Fix it!!!!!!
News article list is almost unreadable
The font used in the list of news articles is so small it’s almost unreadable. There is no option in the app to increase the font size.

Makes my other apps refresh because its drops to like 3fps. Painful to use

Recent changes to the app are terrible. I no longer enjoy reading the content as it is now presented. I’m seriously considering deleting this app.
Absolutely HORRIBLE with blind accessibility.
Unfortunately, this is truly one of the most screen reader-unfriendly apps I have ever come across as a blind user. VoiceOver cannot recognize most interactive elements, and even basic interactions like page scrolling don’t work well. Additional accessibility functions like Screen recognition actually seem to break the app even more. The app is very sluggish, and auto-playing of videos apparently cannot be disabled. I cannot even locate the video player on a page to stop playback using any form of VoiceOver navigation. The AppleTV version has no logical method of VoiceOver navigation using the remote, making it virtually impossible to access anything. Blind users will get no benefit from this app until it receives a complete accessibility overhaul.

Used to be better
2 minute clips with 5 minutes of adds, I just want to watch the 6’oclock show with commercials.
Older WSAZ App was better
I have a red dot on my app icon that will not go away. I’ve clicked all over this app to resolve it and it will not resolve. Frustrating to say the least.
New app format
The new app format is terrible. Back to the drawing board…….
Too Many Ads
There’s too many adds, not enough content.
Just… why.
Why is there an alert you can’t get rid of? It drives me crazy to see the red alerts when there’s nothing new to see. The old app had enough issues and this update just added more.

It seems all this app does is do commercials I can understand a couple but there’s too many commercials and a lot of times the news is not from our area and it should be

Too many notifications
I have a strong suspicion that they mark 100% of their stories as breaking news. I downloaded the app today and turned off everything but breaking news and school closings and I’ve had 30+ breaking news notifications in 3 hours. This is ridiculous.

WSAZ used to be fair and balanced. Reporting the news and not inserting the left or right slant on whether ever subject they reported on. Now, however, like all other mainstream media, they not only lean left, but they have become more liberal thinking.

Local news
There isn’t any! Picking and choosing what stories to cover by the political parties IS NOT REPORTING! We get reports all over U S, but not the important local issue reports. Frankly, local people on a FB are quicker and more accurate than washed out reports WSAZ produces. I have lived within eye distance for 55 years. This is the LOWEST WSAZ has EVER been.Way to bend the knee!
