Average but helpful

Needed a tool to register my tasting notes so I decided to try this one. Couldn’t find frappato grape varietal in the selection plus there is a wine region option but no appellation…
Kind of limited for professionals but I guess it’s a good option for less experienced tasters

Meh

Would be a useful tool if it was set up for WSET level 3. As it’s only level 2 it’s rather limited in its application.

I miss the built in scoring option

I miss the built in scoring option. Otherwise looks good.

App worked great for a week now closes app and all progress on analysis on the tasting flavor notes

Please fix!

Nice basic app, built to the purpose and nothing more.

The reviews are kinda harsh. This app works well enough. I was able to add a photo of the label (some reviewers couldn’t), and it didn’t crash, although I haven’t yet tried to put in any non-preset flavors. The export is compact and clear. Seems like a great app if you ask me. Yea, you can’t edit a review once “saved”, but prior to that it’s fully editable. Yea, you can’t enter or change the date. That seems to be set when you “save”. But, you can mention in the notes section if your tasting date is different than your “save” date if that’s important. This app does what it says it does and avoids the unnecessary. It’s perfect for a WSET student (like me), and seems useful to anyone that want’s a consistent way to record their wine tastings.

Good idea, not great execution

Would be fantastic if it had an option for level 2 vs level 3 notes. Definitely needs a way to edit notes. Additionally would be nice to be able to adjust the date of the review. It is common for me to take paper notes as I drink and then next day go in to enter them, so would be nice to accurately capture the date.

Not working

The app is not opening on IOS. It is calling the mistake whenever you are trying to login.

App crashes when inputting information

I’ve used the app a few times and previously it had worked well. This week when I tried to input information into a new record the app would crash and force close, losing all information. I tried multiple times but couldn’t get past the aroma stage without the app closing. A shame, I have enjoyed using it in the past. Please fix!

Not Official, Third Party

As a student, I have directly contacted WSET London via email and asked at their HQs for access. They said they said they do not provide any digital materials or app access.

Allow for editing

Great app but you really should allow the option for editing…

Too many bugs

Often crashes, nice app but impossible to use.

Annoying

Well thats annoying I cant edit or draft my tastings. Headed to a group tasting and I want to input the wines were tasting so I don't have to pause to input all the basic wine info (that should be importable from vivino).

Amateurish

Keeps crashing when you try to type the primary nose marker that is not on the internal list but starts with a letter that is present on the internal list. The alcohol percentages are a silly drop-down with 0.5% increments so you have to cheat by copying and pasting them from Notes app No place to enter rim variation. No way to edit old entries. No way to set the tasting date, other than it auto sets to today.

App crashing

Hi, I'm finding every time I go to type Primary Notes to the Nose section, the app crashes.

Too complex but incomplete

This is a good start, but I won’t use it until it’s in better shape. It’s too complex: so many screens and taps to add a wine. You have to be able to edit, that’s a basic requirement. It doesn’t have all the AVAs continuing the myth that there are only a few wine regions in the USA. Photo label recognition… it’s been around for years! Fix all these then I’ll be more interested.

Keeps crashing!

Useful app, if only it didn’t crash so often. At least make it possible to save as you go, and to edit. It has crashed three times in the last hour. Back to just using regular notes for me!

Keeps crashing

It would be a good app if it didn’t keep crashing without saving any data! Very disappointing. :(

Love it but needs a few tweaks

Love the logical progression.

As others said should be able to edit.

Starting to type certain aromas or flavors cause an immediate crash losing that wine and having to start over.

Would be great to have producer also listed in main list.

Would be great to remember producer and non-default grapes once entered for subsequent use.

Thinking about taking a WSET course now though.

Great if basic tasting notes app

I hope some day they make the notes editable! It’s my main issue with the app. Other than that it’s a very useful tool.

Only for level 2

I love the app but I don’t understand why one could change the tasting level based the level the student is on.
