A helpful Tool

A good app to strengthen geography recognition, though the format doesn’t help for too much more than that. Unfortunately the 60 time frame is a bit short with the map navigation. Would happily pay a few dollars or subscription to have this a more fleshed out program. Overall fun and useful in a flash card way.

App needs a rework

The map UI isn’t intuitive and the whole app is slow and laggy in general. I think this is a case where an older app just hasn’t aged well, an update would be great!

Too fast

I love the idea of this, and I think I could learn a lot from it, but there’s just not enough time to think and tap in and out of maps. With a little longer times available this could be such a useful tool. As it is, it’s just really annoying and a waste of time.

Fun

I think it’s quite fun. Could u guys give more updates? I finished all levels

Love the concept, just not how it works

I love the game as a whole. Huge suggestions: It needs to have the option of not being timed, and it needs to stop repeatedly asking me the questions I’ve long mastered. The world map should get to the region faster and more efficiently when I’m narrowing down my answer.

Love it, but it needs some tweaking

This is a really fun and very effective way to memorize exact locations of wine regions. A few tweaks would be helpful. For example it would be nice if the name of the region was in a dark color instead of a light color because it sometimes takes me a few seconds to be able to read the name. Another tweak would be for the map to reset to the world view after each wine. That way I wouldn’t have to tap out before I could tap in again. Finally it would be nice at the end of the round to be able to see what the right regions were for the ones I got wrong. Although admittedly, after playing the game enough, I eventually figured it out on my own. Overall, I am extremely happy with this app.

Great memorization tool!

This game has been a fabulous tool to reinforce/remind me of things I learned years ago. It has allowed me to recall information I wasn’t sure was still lodged in my brain! I’m excited to brush up & continue my wine education now.

Basic app with lots of potential

Great app for learning the basic regions. Fast-paced and will definitely help with memorization. Would be helpful if a map with the region/subregion is located in the review notes. Also, it would be nice to include the information of the last option when the timer runs out along with the in/correct ones. Would love to see this app add on the next level to include notes about the wines.

A poorly designed app

Avoid, unable to navigate successfully to the country you would like go to to choose a specific region - frustrating

Challenging fun

The games are a lot of fun and a great way to lean more about wine regions

It is difficult to move in and out on the map as you need to do big region changes.

Maps have issues

I'm very good at knowing about wine, but I have found that navigating around the maps is rather unintuitive. It's very frustrating when you know the region where the wine label belongs, but you can't get to it because the maps are too hard to pinpoint. Otherwise, everything is is well done, it requires some knowledge, and it will really test you. If they can just find a better way to make the maps more intuitive, it can be a five-star app.

Needs work! Poor picture quality

Don't get me wrong its a great idea, but it's got to many problems.

1. Better picture quality
2. When you go to the results page it should show you a map of the place or some more information on the area, so you can learn, instead of having to google I later.
3. There really needs to be an iPad version, the 2x zoom is terrible quality.
4. Enable Pinch zoom .
5. Landscape view would be better.

Fix these things, and it would be a much better app....

Thanks

Good game with potential

Game is great but could use a lot of new content. Newer regions and maybe a practice section where you can browse countries and regions without being on a time crunch.

Love It!

Great revision tool. Hoping there are more apps to come!

Great tool

Awesome app for the professional or the person just looking to learn in a fun way.

Highly educational but mostly fun

Really great app, definitely helped me remember the info for WSET2 in a visual and engaging way (and I am not the most academic person).

I liked that it was progressive too - because when you try earlier levels again - it's easy to gauge improvement in knowledge!

Wish this was compatible with the iPad mini - even though my course is over I'd play it over my paid games - just reckon it would be better on a bigger screen even though the iPhone5 screens fairly decent. Will have to wait and see :)

very good

Too easy

A Game of Finger Dexterity?

I thought I could win based on wine knowledge. Not the case.

Good; could be great

How about a pinch to zoom instead of the clumsy map zoom function?

And an iPad version would make this much easier to use instead of squinting at it.

Can't wait for an updated version.

Maps & labels unreadable

Unfortunately the when matching the labels to maps it difficult to move and increase map size for greater detail. Also, the labels are very difficult to read
