Bad weather reports
This app is worthless do not download you be better off walking outside to see what the weather is I sure hope the people getting paid to report the weather isn’t getting paid much because this app is never gonna tell you the right thing I give this app a 0- if I could same goes for 7 to
Captions Cover the Video So Can’t See Radar and Other Images
Title says the problem and Settings doesn’t show an option to turn off captions. Can something be done to offer caption options in Settings PLEASE?

I know you guys meant to have an all around better app but…
Why did mine freeze? So I deleted it. All my machine recalls when I try to get it back is where it was last time…with the circle below spinning for minutes. I can never get this again. Yikes!
Now with the update on my tablet around 18.01? I definitely Cannot get in. I try to get the app through the news app. No results Again! Plus have WiFi on and tried to get in another way…so found your side with many subjects but why is there No Radar in the weather subjects? Seems Very important to me.

Maddening format changes!
This app is fatally flawed after the update a month or two ago with a maddening change in format orientations from one view to another. I’ve emailed requests fix this and was informed they are working with the developers to do so. However, after over 2 months of inaction I’ve stopped using the app and gone to another station’s weather app that doesn’t drive me crazy rotating my iPad.

New weather app
I sincerely dislike the changes to the weather app!! Really a white map for radar that hurts your eyes! If I wanted videos, I would not go to the app , I would watch TV weather . This is supposed to be something you can quickly get good information from in a hurry and it used to be . Now it is frustrating

The latest update is the pits
The latest update took a decent app and ruined it. The radar now stinks, it is harder to navigate to anything. I used the app all the time previously. Now I pray and guess at the weather, it works just as well as the updated app

The last update is 6 years old.
The latest update is not an improvement? I liked it better when you could turn your phone sideways and expand the weather map. The app now locks up on Apple iPhone when reading the weather update. Once there the app will not finish loading and locks up. Once that happens, you have to completely turn your phone off and restart. Pain in the rear. Have to manually sign back into every subscription you have on your phone.
6/2024. The latest weather update is not a very good one at all. The newest update carries one and two week old weather reports that have already past. Whatever the radar screen is moves to fast and added ads makes it impossible to see the details.
The latest radar looks like a gigantic electrical blueprint with misspelled street names and towns, if you can expanded it far enough to even see the street you live on. It has too many unnecessary details to be easy to use.
I do understand that it is a free app. But the pop-up ads that block the content is so overwhelming that it makes using your weather app very difficult to use at best. Country, State, County lines, as well as terrain differences are impossible to make out no matter where you place the radar map screen.
The previous version was like a globe with a 2D map of the country(s)with a weather overlay that functioned quite well regardless of the season you were in across the USA. The previous app was able to see the weather moving from coast to coast on a single map. I don’t like the new weather app for channel 10 weather. Two week old weather news crammed together with the little bit of the current weather is like mashed potatoes.

The only things I would suggest to improve WSLS’s weather app is to have the LIVE radar go for a longer time into the future, & a big one is to darken the ink on the daily info like the temp and % of rain, as it looks like a light gray & is hard to read even with bifocals to where you need a magnifying glass. I’ve heard people say even with 20/20 eyesight that they have trouble seeing it. It’s not that it needs to be a larger print but that the ink needs to be darker. Thanks for asking for our opinion!

Review
Some features are just ok when viewing in your phone. Little better on IPad because of larger screen. But most people view the app on their phone which in most instances is a small screen.
To add other layers to radar map like lightning wind, and other choices are great but can’t add multiple layers with precipitation layer. The process to switch back and forth to view layers on radar is inconvenient. Like to see precipitation, lightning and direction storm is going all at once.

Excellent weather app
Extremely accurate app. So much info at the touch of your finger. Modify it to keep up with your favorite cities and towns. Vacation planning, extended family locations. Radar very accurate. This is my new “go to”

Great for looking at the radar and seeing when a storm is near especially when I’m planning on an outdoor activity. I use this app daily and love how accurate it is.
