Don't Bother
This is, by far, the worst news app of the three network TV stations in Charlotte. It's technologically shoddy and unreliable, and consistently has outdated information. As for the staff, their writing, spelling and grammatical skills are embarrassingly poor more often than not. I finally gave up and deleted it from my mobile device.

App doesn’t apply night mode and text size
I like to get my news from the app, but the app settings don’t match phone settings. I have all my settings set up correctly. Since the app doesn’t darken and doesn’t increase the font, I generally don’t open it at night.
Outdated?
Your app needs to be updated to allow auto rotation from portrait to landscape when used on an iPad. I have submitted this comment previously but to no avail. Please strongly consider making this improvement.
Horrible!
Do not depend on this app for your local Charlotte news! This app is constantly full of old news and outdated information and stories. It doesn’t get updated on a regular basis, and important stories can take days to make it to the app. In addition, they repeat the same story multiple times under different headings to make it look like there is a lot of news content. There isn’t. Sports and sports content are the worst, many times not updating results or providing a story until the day after a game is over. The app itself is horrible, with super tiny fonts that are hard to read and small pictures that you cannot see on the main feed. WSOC-TV is great news on television, but absolutely horrible on the app. You get better and faster news through social media than through the app. A waste of time to even look. They need to hire a good team of people just to run the app and redesign it! Truly disappointed in the WSOC news app.

Great News & Weather App.
I find the WSOC-TV news app to be very informative. I grew up watching WSOC News cast. Having their app is great for days when I am not able to watch their nightly news cast.

Review of the app
Some stories remain on the app for weeks and weeks. This is a waste of my time to keep looking at this app. I look other places for my local news
Bad connection
Checking news from around NC. 6 tv news sources. All are received fine except WSOC. Read one article and then. Dead space for several minutes unless I close app and restart. May need a network upgrade WSOC! Never happens on any other tv news.

Bait and switch??
I like this app, but have one issue. I’ll get an alert about a news story. I’ll click on the alert to take me to the story, but it just takes me to the apps main page. Story I clicked on nowhere to be found….

Please keep it free and without ads!! Please remain neutral on reporting, no political biased views, please!! Let our Police do there job, lots of your news makes it out that they are the “criminal.”
Time to delete
Not sure what’s going on with this app but I’m deleting it because it keeps opening on its own, randomly. I’m not sure if it’s a tactic to get the ads displayed or what but I’m over it.
