App no longer works
I’ve uninstalled and downloaded it again, but the app no longer works. The only app on my phone that doesn’t. It just opens to a black screen.

Everytime I try to read the news on this app it goes completely black, no other app is doing this so it’s not my phone
New version not usable
Cannot get past the weather “set up Location” screen. Sad because I prefer channel 7, but app is unusable now. Have used the app for years, but now it’s unusable.

I have an iPhone and the wspa doesn’t download past the weather screen. What is wrong with the app. Please advise.
Bugs
What is going on with this newest update? Extremely irritating, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the app before the update. Now it started crashing when I clicked on “weather” and has progressively gotten worse to crashing as soon as I open the app. I have emailed regarding this already. PLEASE fix 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Ads Before News
Too many advertisements. It’s absolutely ridiculous to watch an ad for a car dealership before seeing a report about the loss of a life. Extremely distasteful.
So much better than WYFF
Unlike WYFF, you are not forced to constantly watch loud annoying ads. The news is more up-to-date. I don’t know why it took me so long to discover this. I deleted WYFF and switched to this app.

The app seems to have problems with videos quite a lot.
They send notifications for stories not in the app
Stop sending notifications for stories you don’t even have available in the app yet! It’s incredibly annoying.
Freezes constantly
App constantly freezes on any phone I use. Does not appear to be one phone. Have deleted and reinstalled multiple times.

Top notch during the week. Christie is still the best on the weather. Weekend drops off a bit, they are not as experienced as their weekday counterparts. But show promise.
Unreliable app, precious little news
For the last few weeks, the WSPA app has crashed every time it’s opened - read half of one article, then it freezes and has to be restarted. As for substance, most subjects are glossed ove in a couple of short paragraphs, with little real info.
It seems that WSPA doesn’t cate to put much effort into their mobile online presence.

App freezes
Love looking at my local news on my phone but this app freezes up EVERY TIME I use it. It’s become unbearable. I can hardly look at two stories before the thing just stops working. I’m deleting the app. Please fix this issue.

Freezes too often
The glitches and freezing up of the app are almost too much to bear sometimes. That coupled with the grammatical errors that are allowed make me want to delete the app and get my news elsewhere.
Constantly freezes
I downloaded the free app to stay abreast of local news and issues, but it constantly freezes up to the point or it is not useful at all. Will be deleting this app and seeking another local news app that actually works!
Incredibly unstable
This is the most unstable app I have ever used. I never manage to get through the entire news content without it freezing and/or shutting down. It’s been a problem for a couple of years but has gotten worse recently despite the fact that both the app version and my O/S are up-to-date.

I read your paper about 2 to 3 times a week to try to keep up with the news in the up state.
Freezes all the time
Personally Channel 7 is the only place I get my local news and it’s disheartening that EVERY time I access the app it freezes and I need to close and restart the app. I have deleted and reinstalled with no change. PLEASE!!! Fix your app.
Problems with this app!
I have the iPhone 11 and for some reason this app keeps freezing up and shutting off. I can be in the middle of reading a story and the app will just shut off or freeze up.
