Why cant you offer an app that would not require ads everywhere making it harder to check the forecast and watch potential life threatening storms coming in? PLEASE REMOVE THE ADS or offer an paid upgrade so you can still make enough money to run the app itself

The meteorologists do an excellent job of keeping us up to date and prepared for the weather. Just out of curiosity, I have always wondered why the beautiful lady meteorologists wear sleeveless dresses when it’s 26 degrees outside. Is it that warm in the studio?

Literally blind you when calling up the keyboard
The only thing I truly hate about the program is when it calls the up the keyboard. It only uses white.
Even if I have all of my keyboards setup to use dark mode when it comes up in the app it overrides my settings and displays it so blight it’s literally blinding me. My system settings are set up to use dark mode only it’s a horrible experience. The app itself is using a night / dark mode per system settings. But inside of the app it displays the keyboard in white… It’s like going out at night and having someone play around with shining a flashlight directly into your eyes…

Needs to be able to plan for weekend trips
It’s good and all but I only have one beef of a feature that’s truncated. In the past versions it used to have a hourly forecast for 72 hours. Now it only go’s out to 48 hours.
The 72 hour forecast is useful for planning weekend trips. Say Memorial day weekend is coming up. Or any other three day weekend. You leave early on Friday morning but you really don’t have a good handle on the storms due for Sunday afternoon. Do you leave early enough Sunday morning to miss most of the storms or can you get by by leaving Sunday afternoon? With only a 48 hour window you can never really know.

Only 2 days in the hourly forecast?
There was a change in the last update to the negative. Before that they would show 72 hours (3 days) into the future. Now they’ve reduced it to 24 hours (2 days). All past versions always had 72 hours. Why the reduction?
Not your average meteorologist!
Most of the weather folks have a tendency to overemphasize the possibility of bad weather like selling a used car! The facts and the warnings are good, necessery, and appreciated, but Derek is honest enough to tell us when he thinks the weather will not actually be that bad, and has been correct 100% of the time. Very comforting! My only source for the weather forecast.

One little annoying bug
The one annoying feature is it’s extremely easy to accidentally press on the map. You’re all of a sudden, hundreds of miles away from your position. The app needs a location button. something you can press on to get back to your current position. currently the only way to correct this is to exit the app. do a for close on it and restart it.

Ads just to see watches and warnings?
As a backup I strongly recommend you install the FEMA app as a backup plan to get watches and warnings. You get them instantly without having to set thru ANY ads. You shouldn’t have your life put on the line just to pad someone’s pockets. Still both of them have to serve you notifications. Once you get a notification make a beeline for your safe place. You can always read the notification after you’ve gotten into your safe space. For most people it’s just the hallway off of your bedroom or the bathroom off of the hallway. Only takes seconds to get there.

I hope you can sit through ads while checking for threatening weather
When weather coverage was moved from the main news app to this app, everything is delivered in video format. No longer do we have written editorials warning of incoming or current weather that may be threatening us. You must sit through 1-2 30sec ads to watch their video to find out if you're in danger. Unfortunately during heavy storms, data is often sluggish to your cell phone.
I would be fine with them having as many side/top/bottom ads as they'd like-- but let me receive a weather warning without ads or poor cell connection gatekeeping the news.

Errors galore
I have used the app for years but for the last couple of months it is not working correctly. When I pull up the radar it either flashes the storms on and off the screen so quickly you can’t see it or it won’t show anything. I have to coliseums out of all apps on the phone and then try… it will work for a couple of minutes and then I have to close all the way out and open it again.

Fix it please to see in landscape
Your app use to work on iPad in landscape mode and it don’t now, it hasn’t for over a year please fix this it is only portrait now so you have to turn iPad to see.
