I select a news report, then I see two advertisements. Then it won’t go to the news reel. I checked and insured the app is up to date and it is.

Hate the mandatory ads
New Design
Ever since the newly designed app began approximately a week ago, I have a “1” next to my app as if I have an unread alert or notification. I have read and opened everything I can find on the app to try and clear it and I’ve also completely deleted and reinstalled the app but the “1” returned. Please fix this as it drives me crazy to constantly see an alert that doesn’t exist. Thank you.

Less ads when trying to read a story. Also the ad when trying to open the care med logo isn’t necessary.

This app is horrible they never report any positive news about the current President it’s all negative and it’s so obvious they are definitely pushing a liberal agenda.
Hometown News Leader????
Very little hometown news. Too much repeating stories. What are your reporters there for, just read from the teleprompter? Get them out in the community!! Do not like your merge with WSFA. Hardly any local weather on weekends. I get more local news on WDHN, channel 18!!!!!
Why do I get adds from Oregon?
I don’t understand why I don’t get advertising from our area. I support our local economy. I get adds from everywhere but Dothan and the surrounding area.

Unusable
Early 2023 full page ads started popping up when you opened the app, when you click the X to leave, it opens up a link to an advertisement. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The ad is impossible to close making the app unusable. My device is an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’ve never had issues before they started putting ads upon opening the app.

Annoying ads
I’ve used this app for years, but the addition of annoying ads at startup has caused me to delete it. Some of these ads don’t even have a way to close them making the app unusable.
Needs lots of updates
Rarely updated with useful information. Wiregrass area has lots of crime but it is rarely shown online. The app crashes often (currently down)

More advertisements than news
Seriously, this app seems to be better focused and designed for generating advertising revenue instead of what is more important, like breaking news and emergencies within our communities.
With the tornadoes that tore across Alabama yesterday killing more than 20 people there was only 1, ONE, singular form of an article relevant to the disaster. And that thoughtful gem consisted of 4 substance lacking paragraphs. I’m sure a 5th grader could have done better..
Bottom line, I’m constantly disappointed with the lacking content, lack of relevant timing and lack of proper management of this platform.

There’s such a drastic difference between what’s posted on here and what’s shown on the tv channel. There needs to be more up-to-date postings here to match the news stories that are being broadcast on air.
NFL makes it bad!
Would be a great app if I could turn off the NFL! They dishonor the flag and I do not care to watch them anymore, funny the flag stood for equality durning the civil war, now it's not good enough to honor!
Notifications?
How about actually using the breaking news notifications. I mean what's the point in having the capability if you don't use them? Look at WSFA for a model...not hard.
