Good but not perfect
I love almost everything about WUNC. It’s the soundtrack of my life. I usually listen through the app, whether at home or away. The only annoying thing is that if I go from Wi-Fi to Cellular, I have to listen to the sponsorship message Again. That means I frequently miss a bit of the story I was listening to. Not the end of the world, but just annoying.

WUNC only app with local features
It is very nice to have an app for WUNC specifically with local new options.
Not up to standard
The app does not meet the standards of the station. The station is great. The app is not so much.
Disappointing
After years of
favoring WUNC I find the app has hidden links to X (formerly twitter). Links to external web sites should be clearly marked, particularly links to sites that many people wish to avoid.

I miss WUNC Music
This app used to be an awesome mix of music discovery, NPR and local news. Without WUNC Music it’s not even half as good.

WUNC is probably the best NPR station in the country (IMO).
Now you can take it with you everywhere.

Glad to see the new app - I’m now using it instead of listening in Apple Music app
The app is a waste of time
The radio is better. WUNC live will run repeated content within the same hour or 2. Live on the app doesn’t match up to live on the radio. It’s very frustrating and a disincentive to use the app or continue being a sustainer.

I wish the news content was presented like the NPR app does it. The pictures with tiny text are not easily scanned on a phone.

Keeps crapping out
I love the content. Maybe it’s the ISP, but buffering should offset that. I can’t tell you how many times a day I have to restart a program I’m listening to.
