I FOUND MY FITBIT

Disappointed

I had high hopes for this app looking at the reviews so I downloaded it and was greeted with a bunch of random letters and a percent thing that changed number even if I stood still 2 star

A Lifesaver When I Lost My Headphones on Vacation

This app is honestly worth paying for.

I was on vacation in Florida and brought my Sony M4 headphones with me when I left the hotel. During the day, I visited several different attractions and had my headphones with me. When I returned to the hotel, I realized they were missing.

At first, I had no idea where they could have gone. I started mentally retracing my entire day and thinking about every place I had visited. At each location, I could remember seeing myself wearing the headphones, so I knew I couldn’t have lost them at those attractions.

That led me to believe they had to be somewhere at the hotel. What made me even more suspicious was that the headphones kept connecting and disconnecting while I was at the hotel. I started thinking someone might have taken them, and I was honestly really frustrated.

Then I downloaded this app.

It helped me track them down, and I found them much faster than I expected.

And guess where they were?

In a trash can directly in front of me, inside a bag.

I’m honestly so glad the trash hadn’t been replaced or taken out yet, because my headphones could have been gone for good. This app potentially saved me from having to replace an expensive pair of headphones, so it definitely saved me a lot of money.

I’m extremely glad I downloaded it. Without this app, I probably would have kept searching everywhere or assumed someone had stolen them.

Definitely worth paying for if you ever lose your headphones. It genuinely helped me find mine. 🎧

Good, but lower your expectations

If you want a rough estimate as to where your device is then I’d recommend it. I found this app through Google. However, while I was looking for my watch, it was giving me signals like 43% when I was in the same room. It took me around 10 tries of walking in and out random rooms, and many minutes of waiting for my alarm to go off, (the Bluetooth was connected, so I knew I was somehow in range), I found the watch. This process took around half an hour, give or take. The only thing I had a problem with was the fact that the percentage updated pretty slowly. I know this because I decided to put the app to the test by setting my phone right next to my watch. At one point the percentage went down by 2, and I was confused. It took a minute for it to get to 100%. Downloading the app I expected it to update every second, not every two seconds. Maybe that’s a high expectation. What I didn’t expect was for it to take an entire minute to locate a device that was right next to it… If you’re going to download this app, make sure you’re patient enough to stand in a corner of a room for minutes.

FAQ

What does Wunderfind do?

Wunderfind is a utility app designed to help you locate lost Bluetooth-enabled devices. It provides a device radar and a distance score to guide you to your misplaced items, such as AirPods, headphones, fitness trackers, and phones.

How does the distance score work?

The distance score is a key feature that indicates how close you are to your lost device. As you move, the score will change, increasing as you get nearer to the device, helping you pinpoint its location.

What devices are compatible with Wunderfind?

Wunderfind supports a wide range of devices, including various Apple products like AirPods, iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. It also works with portable speakers, fitness trackers like Fitbit, and many other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Is Wunderfind free to use?

The app is free to download and use, offering core features for finding lost devices. However, it does have in-app purchases, suggesting that some advanced functionalities or features may require a purchase.

Can this app find my phone if it's off?

The app relies on Bluetooth connectivity to detect devices. If your phone is off or its Bluetooth is disabled, this app may not be able to locate it. It is most effective when the lost device is powered on and has Bluetooth enabled.
