Looks abandoned

Guess this was abandoned, last blog update was 2021 and no adventures to play

I pay $5 yearly (worth it!) HUGE POTENTIAL to EXPLODE needs Ai)

All that’s missing is it own, Ai that runs natively in the app.

Which.. they can obtain for free with most amazing open source Ai models out there… meta’s llama 2, Deep Seek… etc. (at the moment I would go with Deep seek, since it can fit on most devices)

Then train it to understand everything everything within this app.. Can be done in weeks or less, due to simplicity of this app.

Put a text box in the app world editor that’s available in every aspect of the app, so we always have direct access to engage the Ai. Butter smooth creative experience.

I have a list of design updates and oversights.. that will significantly improve the quality of life of the UX. I’ve been working on this list since 2022. Adding illustrations, videos to show the issues and how they hinder UX performance making things take unnecessarily longer times or more laborious than they need to be. I will send that when I finish. That said…

If I had the revenue, I would had bought this ip, the app, the source code, and then here’s how I would put this back out to the market..

After using the free open source Ai training it with everything this app can do, I would then… (increase the yearly price to $20-$30)

1. (if financially feasible) add API’s to other popular Ai services, so the app itself has direct access to eleven labs, midjourney, dalle 2, ready player me.. etc. (if api’s charge - don’t add them)

2. This allows the creators to generate images & audio directly within Wunderverse app.

3. Also since you the developer of this app, trained your own model and its (running on device) no tokens fees are being accrued.

4. If you are able to add api’s that allow access to other ai apps…

Make sure the access *to that other apps online site.. via you providing an in app pop up window..

Therefore, you are not charged any fees, the creators are using their own account credentials associated to those online apps, “midjourney, eleven labs, chat gpt.. etc”

your app stores none of the credentials, all you’re doing is facilitating the creator a window from within your app, that provides them direct access to their creative ai tools, online accounts without leaving your app.

I think HUGE missed POTENTIAL if this developer leaves this app as is. That would be sad, this app is amazing EXPLOSION capability.

Small Recap:
1. TRAIN FREE OPEN SOURCE AI:
Use (deep seekr5) it can download onto device, so it lives on device (no tokens generated, no fees on your side) I use craft docs, they added deep seek, I was able to download it onto my device (within their app as a download) now the Ai in their app is running on my iPhone 11 Pro Max chip. (a 2019 phone)

2. MONETIZE:
Allow creators to monetize their creations, you take a small percentage (don’t be greedy like choice of games) meaning you take less than they do.. creators will start arriving in droves..

3. MARKETING, SCALE, USE AI IN YOUR BUSINESS MOVES:
If you decide to do any of the moves above, depending on tire speed.. have a plan to scale infrastructure if that occurs,
and get her on marketing.

Use Ai tools for everything on tire business end (planning, marketing, scaling)

You’re sitting on a uranium mine and don’t even know it.

I would start small - train your own model, make this app super accessible and fast. Give it intelligence so we can engage it and build rapidly.

Awesome tool!

I just discovered Wunderverse. Im new to the world of interactive fiction. I tried a couple other apps, but this one is my favorite so far. Its got so many possibilities and the user interface makes the development to intuitive! I hope it continues to develop 🤞

Awesome App for Education

I teach Secondary English (grades 9-12). I incorporated Wunderverse into my curriculum with great success. For the younger students, I created a game that covered all the major themes of the book we were reading. There are options for you, the teacher, to observe and track the students’ progress as the students play the game.

For the older students, I had them actually create their own games based on the book we were reading. A lesson or two needs to be dedicated to teaching the students how to find their way around the app. However, once they are familiar, students have the opportunity to really explore all the ins-and-outs of the app.

This can all be done using the free version, but the Pro-version is highly recommended. The rates are extremely reasonable and worth it. I recommend this app to teachers, students, gamers - everyone!

Thank you Wunderverse team!

The interactive fiction app we should all be using

I wanted this app for a long time. For me, the main appeal is that I can write interactive fiction on my mobile device, a strangely deficient niche in the mobile market.

When I finally stumbled upon this app, it was everything I wanted, and as an eager creator I wasted no time subscribing to the pro tools. It's still head and shoulders above anything else I've found.

My one complaint is that it's so packed with features it's sometimes a pain to account for the ones you don't want. Don't have any use for the player ability to crawl or crouch? You'll have to write something for those abilities anyway, because you can't toggle them off. You can rely on the default, generic "nothing happens when you do this" message, but only if it fits your tone. Want to write a story in first person? Get ready to overwrite every single default behavior that's written in second person.

But that and a few other minor quibbles don't change the fact that this is the best interactive fiction app not enough people are using. It depresses me to see the devs crafting such a superb engine and the relatively small crowd it's bringing in. This is the framework of a really wonderful mobile experience, and the only thing it's missing is you. Please have a look. See the potential, and love it like I do.

See you in the Wunderverse?

Donne très envie mais...

Est-il possible, soi-même ou à l’occasion d’une mise à jour, de traduire l’application svp ?

Supreme Interactive Storytelling

As a former game design student I love this app! If you want to test it out the free options are more than enough to get into text adventures and interactive stories, but if you want to dive deeper I highly recommend the subscription. 5,99€ a year are nothing for the possibilities you get with going pro. I love to be able working on my adventure on the go, while creating the pictures for it later at home.

Great program.

I did have a issue with the program about not having pro tools as I was one of the first to use it, but thankfully the pro tools have been restored. The program is easy to use which is great as I can’t program to save my life. So this helps, the continued support is great and I am happy with the company for sorting out my problem.

The new update is wonderful!

:)

Better than any other native app found in the store, but still glitchy

Randomly shuts down at times, refuses to follow some before action commands. The biggest issue is not allowing you to copy and paste nodes/ to remove characters from a mode without deleting them entirely.

I honestly feel cheated for buying the pro version.

That being said if those issues can be ironed out I could see this becoming an amazing workhorse

Really fun for interactive fiction

I've been using it on both iOS and Mac, and it's so cool to be able to create your own adventures. The rules system and options are pretty amazing, and the developers keep adding new features all the time. I wish there were more stories, but other than that, I love this app! It's a great platform for IF.

Simple interface, limitless possibilities

The new version of WV has taken it to the next level. The interface is easy to master, and the new functionality gives creators endless conditions and outcomes. I grew up playing ZORK and I’ve always wanted to create a text adventure, but I’m not a coder. WV has allowed me to quickly create and publish without writing a single line of code!

What Did You Do?

It was actually getting easy to use as I got the hang of it, it was a great game for me to play as a blind person with voiceover. But now, since you updated it, it's completely unusable for me! I was actually getting the hang of using it and had a really good game in progress, but now I'll NEVER be able to finish it unless you can somehow make the app accessible again. Please try at least, I enjoyed making games and want to do it again like everyone else.

Adventures?

Ok, I think the concept is great. I shared this app with many of my friends who grew up with text games and choose your own adventure books.
Everything about this app “looked” great except...
Unfortunately we were hoping to read/play a few adventures? Um.... we’re just suppose to wait to see “if” someone shares or work/write our own?

I’ll keep peeking back in but the cupboards empty???

Storyteller’s Toolbox

Wunderverse is a slick collection of tools that makes creating text adventures easy. There’s an early learning curve but I figured out most issues by experimentation and just playing around with the program.

I look forward to seeing more adventures by other users. Huge potential for creative expression here!

Great app to bring your stories alive

Wow I was surprised by this app's toolset. A really fun mechanism for visually seeing your stories in action as you create them, as a game! Instant feedback and gratification :). I can see this being a GREAT teaching tool for creative writing / storytelling (learning and applying story components, building suspense, plot twists, character development etc) utilizing game development as the platform. The app lets you focus on your story and characters, building your game experience for you in manageable pieces. It's sure to be lot of fun sharing stories---it not only makes for good practice but also a fun way to get feedback---whether you're a writer, gamer, entertainer. Good to start with the app by checking out the demo stories and spend some time walking through the help tips first to get a sense of the toolset. Then, unleash your imagination and show friends or others in your Wunderverse community what you've come up with!
