Great Reading App!

Besides the ads, this a great novel-reading app! The fonts are very easy on the eyes, just hope they will add the option to change background colours when reading a novel in the near future.

Overall fairly good, but definitely has its problems

I have been using this app along with other novel reading apps such as Webnovel, Wuxiaworld, and Boxnovel.I’ve enjoyed this app, but after using it for more than 200 hours their have been some clear upsides and downsides...I would like to leave an honest review to both attract and warn future people of this app..

Upsides:
1. compared to apps such as Webnovel, the users on this app who don’t spend money have a much better experience. There is an add every 30 chapters with an occasional message asking if you would like to pay $4 per month to go add free.An add every 30 chapters sounds like a lot, but in my experience over half the adds are 5 to ten seconds, with an occasional 30 second add, never have I gotten anything longer.

2. The format is very user friendly, with no dropdown bars covering 1/3 of the screen, or any extensive categories required to find a good novel to read. I especially appreciate that whether a novel is continuing or has been dropped is available to look at before I even click on the novel’a description.

3.Very good for new, or non-serious readers. The app makes finding novels you like easy, but their are multiple novels listed right in the same category that all have different lengths and content, therefore, if you aren’t to much of a critic of the similarity of the content, I can see people really enjoying being able to find a very similar new novel, right after finishing the old one.

Downsides:

1. There is very little variation in the actual categories of novels, with many of the same categories seeming almost identical to other previously read in the same category, which leads to it being harder to find good novels once you read a novel that truly interests you, with new novels seeming like cheap off brands.

2.The recommendation tab seems like a complete joke, I have read more that 30 novels on the app, with only the occasional change in “recommendations”, so in my experience, it is often better just to use the basic categories offered, or the “more like this” on the description of the novel.

3.Glitches and minor annoyances seem to never get fixed. I’ve been using this app 4-6 months and have never seen any of the really annoying glitches and annoyances I will list being fixed.
Glitches/Annoyances: Adds sometimes won’t let you click the X to leave which forces you to leave and get on the app again, sometimes after finishing an add the screen will turn grey and will force you to restart the app, when attempting to use the searchbar their is often no way to type in it, not all the continuing or dropped novels are completely correct or are often completely wrong(some novels only update once or twice a year, whilst some never update but are considered to be still updating),sometimes when reading certain long chapters the screen will have lag with nothing to do with the internet(making it very difficult to scroll down consistently), The chapter names that end in the letter “T” often get caught off with the “T” being removed.

Overall I enjoy using this app, but as I use it more and more, it becomes more redundant, and while the glitches are not a big deal, they make me seriously confused some of the time, ex. I once saw a chapter referencing a Sacred Table, which left me very confused, but it ended up that it was just the “T” on “Sacred Tablet” in the title had the “T” caught off.
