I love having access to national public radio as well as stories from my local area all in one, clean app.
Poor app design - too busy
I listen to radio IQ on either the WVTF app or on the NPR one app. Many times the NPR app doesn’t connect well so I end up using the WVTF app to listen. The constantly shifting highlighted news stories on the app itself are a distraction and I never use it for anything other than audio. As mentioned another comments, the buffering is really distracting. When you first turned it on, it will often repeat the first few seconds two or three times before it finally connects consistently.

Music side stops
The music side stops and will not restart. Different programs and time of day. Worked well in beginning but not now. Very disappointed and frustrated.
Adequate - but could do more
I’m an avid listener, and am grateful for the app. But, it could do More, as compared to other npr stations. But have to recognize financial restraints.
Fun but unfunctional
Great options for reading the schedule and finding news stories. It’s the only way I can get to the music side of the station. The portion of the app that is the audio player is not able to play reliably for the morning news. Lots of buffering. You are better off using the website if listening is your goal. A new update was offered last weekend and it didn’t help at all.

Great stuff on WVTF/RIQ but the app crashes.
Good content, bad tech
I have enjoyed this app for years until this year, when it has engaged in repeated skipping, hiccuping freezing, and repetition of the same short clip over and over. I have deleted and reinstall the app several times with no change and performance. And I listen to other NPR apps such as WNYC to get the content with no problems.

RADIOIQ is my go-to source for news—truth. I’ve used this app to hear & read current and breaking news for quite a number of years. When I’m traveling internationally the app is particularly useful for me and allows me to keep up-to-date on local and world news. When I’m home I listen to BBC World News on the app and to interviews and stories from around the globe. LOVE the app
