Worst App I’ve Ever Seen
This app is not user friendly, pixel/image quality is laughable and I cannot understand how a major fashion publication has such a horrendous app.
No photos terrible app
I rarely write reviews but really WWD? You’ve got a paywall app for your articles and no photos load past the first page. Run an update, it’s been a year! So annoying to pay for this and not get complete access - bring back print!
An unbelievably bad app
This app is awful. Search doesn’t work. Categories don’t load. Content readily available on the website doesn’t show up on the app. I don’t even bother to look for runway images on the app because they won’t show up - I’ll go to Vogue instead.
For such a high profile global fashion industry institution and publication, it’s confusing that no attention has been put into fixing pretty basic but debilitating issues on the mobile app?

no updates - what a shame
it’s a shame there’s no care for this app, there’s still issues with images loading, it’s constantly logging you out and glitches when you try to log in until you delete the app and redownload
Can’t Login
I can never login to the app. It never works.

This repeatedly refreshes and prompts me to subscribe or log in, I cannot read any articles.
Pixelated photos
How is this a fashion app?? photos are terribly pixelated, please fix. I dearly miss the print version.
Really WWD? The app has been down for more than a week
I’ve uninstalled multiple times and the app will not fully load.
Great content, awful app
WWD is an exceptional news source, but the app was clearly designed by a committee. The Home tab is incoherent, the For You tab often forgets who I am, Runway is never updated, Sections is at best a sitemap (groundbreaking) and the Digital Daily is a basically pdf of the print edition. The best use of this app would be as a case study for a design school on how not to do build an app. It’s a tragedy really, the WWD app could easily be the go-to for the industry. Designers: combine Home and FYP into a feed with sticky filter preferences, single column, infinite scroll, no footer, and bury the rest in a burger. An unread signal would babe nice too.

You miss the news
My understanding is that a publication has an app to give its subscribers a fast access to the content.
Unfortunately that is not the case with WWD:
The story selection is incomplete. The team curating the app miss the “hot news” from the website, so you need to log into the website anyhow. So this is really a useless tool.
Then, if you click on the website links in the app (yes they do not feature all the content in the app) they make you type in the password and log in details AGAIN.
This is so annoying at the end of the date, that I consider to cancel my subscription to WWD. We need less roadblocks in our lives…. The way WWD manages it shows you that they either do not care about their subscribers or they are just not a the level to play the digital game. Either one is hurting this once so strong brand on the market place…. Reconsider, there are other’s out there with a better app experience. Sorry.

Not suitable for IPad
Don’t get why this app does not also work in landscape on the iPad. Super annoying
Half the images never load in the articles
When you click the articles only the first image loads then there are huge gaps between the words where I assume photos are supposed to be- I thought it was just my phone but my friend also found this problem on their phone . The fashion photos won’t enlarge - with the vogue runway app they will- I wish wwd would add this feature to at least their runway and streetwear section.

Impossibly hard to cancel
The magazine is not what I expected and trying to cancel the subscription has been impossibly hard. I am still waiting for a reply to my email.
Great Update
Love the layout, easy to use and keeps me updated on the latest news, so that I can copy them and put up on my website.
Can’t login to the app
I am also having a problem not being able to login and am paying for a subscription. WWD customer service said they cannot help and I have to go through Apple support. Who can help fix this bug ASAP??? You bug fix from 1 day ago has not fixed the issue!!!!!
Horrible layout
Seriously you people work in the fashion industry with countless visually creative people and cannot bother to hire a proper app developer? Seriously fix your APP UI it’s bleak darling. I’ll stick to the pdf version emails
