(Updated!) Complete scam
Spent $99 on a background check just to get no requests at all, even with plenty of testimonials, photos, experience etc. I was promised additional benefits if I became a sitter during a limited time but I have not seen those benefits reflected in any way, shape or form. I have been using this app for months and received absolutely nothing in return. Scrolling through these reviews I’m obviously not the only one that’s been used like this. Not okay!
Update: WyPaw has reached out. They threatened me over my 100% honest review, and demand that I lie about my experience if I want to get my money back. They have shown their true colors. Protect yourself and stay away from this app!
Updated again!: The proof is in the pudding. Instead of offering any assistance, they just threatened me, deactivated my account, and now gaslighting in the replies to save face. How is asking you to keep your promises a violation of TOS? You can even see it in the other reviews here, I am not the only one that has been scammed by this company. All of this over a completely honest review about my experience with them. What a complete joke. Please keep yourselves safe by not downloading or giving them any of your money or information. This business should not be allowed to continue to operate

Original response on June 22: Our system didn't have any accounts associated with this review. The benefits are clearly visible in the Benefits tab https://wypaw.com/dashboard?tab=benefits. Your claim of "have not seen those benefits yet" is a wrong statement. The new price for a background check is a support from the company. When you register and create an account with us, you agree to our terms of service. We're not a lead generation company. Update June 29: The author of this review changed their original comment with the new content, as in the above edit, to create a false story. Her actions violated our terms of service and were the side to threaten WyPaw.
Feel scammed

Now they’ve lowered the price of the background check to $59, and I don’t get a cent of it back. I feel like I’ve just been totally scammed.

I paid $100 dollars per the requirement to receive payments and did not receive a single legitimate inquiry in 2 months. Only 1 that was a complete scam! I believe this platform is intended to collect the $100 from each person who believes it is a real site, but then does not guarantee even a refund when the platform is completely dry/ full of scams, because they claim the $100 is for the background check and to be verified, even tho you can’t get paid unless you have those things so it is a trick to make you pay the $100 and have no way of receiving a refund when you don’t receive any work from the site making you believe it is a total scam to collect said $100 from you! What a crazy concept and way of making money for these people who own this platform. I wish I spent the money on Rover/ Wag or trusted house sitters instead, way more reliable!
