Why did you change?
Just look at the reviews. Everyone was really happy with the old app and don’t like the new app. Go back to the old one!!
The ap randomly and suddenly comes on loud and clear in the middle of the night
It is jarring to be awakened by WYPR when we are sound asleep. It never does that during the day!
New version is really bad
Audio drops, stuff is buried in menus, layout is baffling. The old app worked just fine. A downgrade in every way
Broken
The app is in an endless loop with an “upgrade available” popup and just one option to upgrade, which reopens the app when you get the same popup again…
Endless update
App asked to update and I did. It keeps asking to update. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone to no avail. Pffft!
Going in circles
The app was working fine and then silence and a message that an update is available. I tapped OK and was routed to the app store but there is no update. The only option was to open the already installed app. Again with the update message and again to the App Store and no update. Uninstall / reinstall does not fix this problem. Please fix this app.

Update loop
Prompts you to update the app even when it’s up to date. Asks if you want to update it but then only gives “OK” as an option. Terribly frustrating. When you click ok you are taken to the App Store where it says “Open”. Then the loop starts again.
Lost Function
When the app updates came out it no longer shows on apple car play!??
What happened
This new app is so much harder to use and glitchy. Is it just me and my old iPhone?
Not for an Apple IPad
It does not change to horizontal format for use with an Apple IPad. Please allow option to get the old app back.
WYPR App for iOS
I enjoy using this app. Finding info is intuitive and not complicated. I particularly like the slow scroll of thumb-size preview of articles. That slow scroll would do well other categories scroll. Might expand info coverage to include other surrounding counties. I’d rather have control to start listening to articles vice automatically start audio.

Great app. I use it more and more.
The more I use it, the more I like it
WYPR app is great
I cannot imagine starting my day without WYPR/NPR.
The app is reliable most of the time and is my weekday companion to start my day and drive home.

Best app to play classical music in the car
Driving my elderly Dad three hours each way on a road trip. He loves NPR (raised me on it) but these days, he only wants music, not news. As we drive, we lose the signal or get static as we dip down into valleys. But this app delivers the content we want at the time we want, as long as we have a cell signal. I am going to install it on his phone because it is easy enough even for him to use.

Good App But Still Needs Improvement
I’m a huge fan and supporter of WYPR, and the app is very convenient. However, it still could use improvements to make it more stable.
WYPR App
I love being able to take my local Public Radio station outside of the radio range. Last week I was able to turn on the app as I drove out of radio range and listened to the interview for another hour, then listened to the next show as well.
I love this app
I find myself listening to WYPR from when I wake up to when I start to go to sleep 😅
One of My Favorite Streams
Good local programming with a wide demographic appeal along with NPR choices. Occasional app audio drop-outs but otherwise a great service. Thanks for all you do.
Good app
Good station for classical music. One of my main music apps while traveling.
Good
I’m able to listen to the shows I love no matter where I am
