One of the Top 10 medical apps

Phenomenal program. I have a leg up in clinical rotations as a 3rd year KYCOM student because of this app. The scrolling feature simulates real life experience while the indicator following the structure helps track it. Thank you for making it affordable as well.

Great for a ct tech in training. I used this a lot while studying for my boards. I would have give 5 stars if there were coronal and sagittal planes as well as the axial. I’d also like for extremities to be shown.

Perfect for radiographers, also use it to help students and interns. Hopefully some extremities in the future

Vertebrae numbers please on chest and lungs

It is a good apps... I would give it 5 stars if it includes the level of vertebrae on the chest and lungs as it did on abdomen & pelvis because for radiographers it is important

Great start, keep adding

Working radiologist here. Great app when you don’t want to get up from the workstation to look up some random pelvic muscle. Would like to see lower and upper extremity anatomy added, like the dearly departed Monster Anatomy series that while useful was not updated to work with current iOS versions.

A must have app for radiologists

As a radiologist, I find this app very useful and it gives you a better understanding of radiological anatomy.. Hoping to be regularly updated and to make some changes to the user interface.. thanks for the efforts.. it’s a must have application for radiologists in specific and physicians of different specialties in general.

Great, useful app!

It would be a 5-star app if it had the level of vertebrae (and maybe other reference points)
Say, I was at thoracic level or abdomen, I would love to see that I am at T12 level...etc
Please consider this feature!

It's an okay app

The App is okay if you don't have to know the anatomy of the extremities.... it would be nice to have some details on legs and arms. The last I checked those were also on the registry exam too. That's why I bought the app. To study for that exam. Now I will have to go buy another app to help study that information as well...

Awesome

Helped me pass my CT boards. No extremities on this app but those are easy anyways. If you are looking for a specific anatomy, the app will show you on every slice it's on. The app is exactly like looking at a CT scan.

As a radiologist for 40 years...

…this is the most useful and intelligent of the anatomy apps. Visually appealing, simulates reading a scan on PACS best. Even after all these years of reading scans, sometimes you just need to reference a muscle or show normal anatomy.

Pretty good

I love the set up and explanation of each part but more anatomy needs to be included. Where are the extremities??? Otherwise it's great. I love the can scroll through slices like in PACS. very very helpful.........new xpro is very nice. It partially upsets me that it all became free after I paid for them all but what can you do.

Rip off

I didnt read the reviews my mistake. I didn't realize each section of anatomy had to be purchased separate. I got another app for $9.99 that included all anatomy.

We removed the in-app purchases with version 3.0.0 back in December of 2015. Now you automatically have access to ALL current and future body sections! Sorry about that. We thought that customers would want the freedom to choose only which modules/body sections that they needed; most people did, but the most vocal were those who did not. Hopefully X-Anatomy is no longer a "rip off"! Thanks for trying X-Anatomy.

Beware

I was very disappointed when I opened the app to find out I had to purchase most of the modules separately. Looking back, it is in the fine print, which makes it my fault. However, I would expect a medical app to be above trying to hide this little detail, particularly when the images shown in the description are of the modules you have to purchase separately. There are better, more complete CT anatomy apps available without making you feel like you have been duped. As for the modules I did get, I haven't bothered to look at them, they just make me mad.
