So grateful for the devs who are doing this amazing work for free. App works fantastic. It has everything you need. The only wish I had would be to indicate when someones turn is over so they move to the bottom, but thats a very minor thing. Especially love that we can stop moving the magic manually, we always forgot.

It burns!
Fire app. So many nice features and very very helpful in speeding up a session of GH. Unfortunately, it drains phone battery like crazy. No other app I use, even full on games, drains battery and makes my phone heat up like this does. Please find the hot spots and optimize the app for battery usage!

Great App
Love this app, makes set up and takedown so much quicker. Eliminates a lot of table clutter.

Can’t say enough good things about this app! Was a MUST with my gaming group and is a MUST with my 8 year old son!
Keeping track of monsters, loot (especially in FH), turn order, conditions/health/experience was, in my opinion, necessary to truly enjoy the game.
Now it’s even more helpful being able to keep track of players’ decks and being able to add perks for each deck (not to mention curse/blessing cards).
It literally creates so much extra space at the table and helps streamline the whole setup and tear down process so much that players can actually enjoy the gaming experience.
I have always been a purist for games and try not to include apps unless it’s required and integrated in the game itself but this is the exception for me because without it, I just end up not playing it.
I have three little boys so setting this game up and tearing it down is something I couldn’t do in this season of life historically but with this app I can!
I am playing JOTL with my 8 year old right now. We did the first few scenarios without the app so he could grasp the math involved and learn how the game operates but now we have moved on to the app and it allows us to set it up and tear down in the evening with minimal effort.
All I can say to the creators of this app is a huge
“THANK YOU!”

The menu
Love the app. Just one thing to note, whenever I tap an element at the top of the app the menu keeps opening. I’m running the app through iPad mini. It wasn’t doing this before. I’ve deleted the app, updated the software for iPad mini, reinstalled the X-haven, still can’t stop menu popping open constantly. My iPad mini is new. Any advice.

Required for Solo Play
At first, I was skeptical of using an app and went through the first few scenarios without it. Then I gave this one a shot and good grief has it reduced the amount of set up and time required to play the game itself. What a fantastic app and the fact that it is free makes it must have for anyone playing this game. I’ve been able to play solo with four characters thanks to it.
IF there was one thing that could be improved, it might be the ability to track completion, but honestly that feels like a minor gripe. Can’t say enough good things about this.

Big help
Great app, tons of features that make setup and tracking easier. We use a combo of phones and laptops so everyone can see what’s going on.
Love it
This app is about perfect. I love doing complex missions and finding that the author programmed in little intricacies to help with the admin of the mission.
Could be amazing
I downloaded this app today, unfortunately I can flip a monster card over to view all of them on the page together and I can’t add any hit points to them so we have gone back to using the cards from the game, it’s a real shame. If this gets fixed I look forward to using this in the future.

I am thankful that this app has risen to fill the void left when the previous developer stopped supporting their companion app. I am still playing a backlog of games, and appreciate being able to automate many of the fidly tracking features in Gloomhave, Jaws of the Lion, and eventually Frosthaven when I get there. Works exactly as expected and supports our occasional desire to play with more than recommended number of players.

Wonderful App (One possible issue)
Don’t hesitate. Get this app and streamline everything about the game. I think maybe there is a slight issue with the enemy’s deck. We are playing JOTL and recently, whenever the enemies get an attack with a shuffle icon, that same card reappears VERY FREQUENTLY. Sometimes 2-3 times in a row. Odd.
Connection issues make this worse than worthless
If this didn’t exist my crew would just use cards. But it does exist and so I get to choose between having no idea what the monsters are doing and spending my evening trying to reconnect constantly.

Was good then the networking code got bad
Trying to keep all my groups phones connected to our tablet server is a nightmare. I have never been more frustrated with an ios app as I am with this one.

It would be extremely helpful if we could drag a player’s character up/down in the initiative order once we have drawn the monsters initiatives to adjust for those circumstances, as once we have drawn, we currently can neither drag nor can we change the number. 3. Make the various decks a touch bigger. The ally and monster decks are very close together and the “a” and “m” identifying which is which is very small, even on my larger iPad, so when we have an ally taking a turn, it can be very easy to accidentally draw from the monster deck. Great app, so many features
The app is absolutely great. I used the Gloomhaven helper when playing Gloomhaven and I am using x-haven for Frosthaven. The app improves almost any aspect of the already very good GH helper, and it is free. We played about 20 scenarios, and every time we needed something unusual, be it a special monster or special rules, the app had a solution ready. It even keeps track of loot and reminds section links. Perhaps the graphic presentation could be improved (it is how the pictures show) but if you value functionality over aesthetics look no further.

Game changer
This dramatically improved our game experience. Our table was cleaner. We kept better track of enemy status effects. It was faster to play through a scenario. And the app is polished AF

An essential tool for the game!
First off, thank you for this app. I don’t think my group could play without it. The amount of time savings is humongous.
My only complaint is that it seems to absolutely eat battery in client mode on older iOS devices. It’s killed an iPad Air and phone from 100% battery to 0 in two of our sessions. The server device seems to be a bit better.
