Fun game

Been playing for years now.

Pay to play

Pay to play to or get left behind xp goes up to slow and the summon boxes need looking at don’t get the hero’s and fiction summon is just as bad always get low quality hero’s

4 years comes to an end

I played this game for over 4 years now and just finally quit.

The bad: daily activities have become a chore, there’s so much free stuff on daily activities and some events that just take up so much time there’s barely any time left to optimize teams for PvP and PvE.

The costs, if you want to play competitively in a competitive union you are 100% spending money. And that can vary from low spend $100/m to players I played with spending $3000 in a single week for certain events. It’s very pay to win, and not much a low spender can do to beat a heavy spender.

New hero releases are becoming way too frequent. You barely halfway finish a new hero before a new one comes out unless you spend $3000 on the launch event. New heroes tend to take over the meta a lot of times right as you finally complete the team needed

That being said. If you like the game after a couple months and learn what you need to learn to play well. Consider spending $500-1000 to buy an established account at vip 16+, you’ll save 10’s of thousands over the long run and be much further along in a much shorter time.

The good: this game is fun, engaging and if you have an active union of 30 players playing competitively and who care. It can be a very fun and rewarding game.

Pay to play game

This game is a pay to play that prioritizes players who spends a lot of money on it and even rewards them. Customer service is a joke and changes the narrative to fit heir story when it suits them.

P2W Demons

This game would be like 10x better if you just added a few free to play friendly events it’s just whoever has more money is better than the other.

Won’t even open

The game can’t even get past the loading screen. Close and reopen and it loads to some random percent then freezes.

Not the same game

What is shown in the advertisement is leaps and bounds better than the actual game.

Pay to win

This app needs a real review by an actually person. I’ve played this game for over three years.

This game absolutely a pay to win and pay to play game.

For two years I would grind and grind with free to play. I would research and try to out smart other players with the best hero combinations. But every time you level up you just keep getting beat. I finally started spending money every month to be able to compete. I spent 100s of dollars on this game and I can still barely compete. And now I had a reward card give me the wrong hero and they won’t take care of me or change the hero. The customer service is just a stupid AI bot. So I’m done.

Bottom line…There is no strategy. Just a mindless time suck. So if you want to spend a lot of money on a grinding game that you just click buttons over and over again this is the game for you.

Server mergers ruin the game

I’ve played X Hero for over almost 2 years, and I’ve seen exactly where this game goes once you’re invested: straight into a paywall disguised as “competition.”

At the start, the game is genuinely fun. You can compete, progress, and feel like your time matters. But that completely falls apart once server merges happen.

The merge system is fundamentally broken. Instead of balancing players by power or progression, the game throws multiple servers together regardless of massive spending differences.

The result? Players get shoved into lobbies dominated by whales who have spent thousands of dollars.

After my server merged, everything changed overnight. Rankings I worked on for months became meaningless. Events stopped being competitive. There is no strategy or effort that can close the gap when you’re up against players who can simply buy overwhelming power.

This isn’t a rare issue, it’s how the system is designed.

Server merges are meant to “revive activity,” but in reality they destroy fair competition and punish consistent players who didn’t spend heavily.

At that point, the game stops being about skill or progression and becomes purely pay-to-win. If you’re not willing to spend large amounts of money, you will eventually be locked out of meaningful competition.

I don’t mind supporting a game, but this system makes it clear that time investment doesn’t matter—only spending does.

That’s not a competitive game, it’s a monetization trap.

Feels like work

This game feels like a low paying job that never gives you a paycheck. You’ll be glad you avoided this one. It’s not fun.

After the pathetic response from the developer, I wish I could award less stars.

3 years Player Experience

It’s a 5 stars game, and very addictive. I’m playing for 3 years already. But I have to give 1 star to customer support, because they lately ignoring our frustrations with some game issues, doesn’t listen to veteran advices and seem to care less than in the beginning. We spend money in the game, so we shouldn’t have these kind of issues where we can’t claim a reward fully deserved just because of dumb rules when you change unions. The rewards should be automatically sent by mail. Asked Customer Support for help and basically they are saying that don’t really care if a veteran player will quit playing because of poor customer care.

Not as advertised

Downloaded this game because I like puzzles and although there is a small puzzle element to the game that’s not what the game is about. Even so I ended up staying with the game. Got up to level 300 then took a break come back in less than two weeks and my game is s reset now I’m deleting it and won’t go back so in the end thanks just gained my time back.

A lot of fun

I’ve been playing for going on 4 years. Everyday at reset like clockwork. It’s really the only consistent thing in my (pretty darn great) life. It’s not a game for the weak. It is so much fun. Union mates have become friends. The Discord for this game is amazing. Customer service is great, VIP Customer service is next level dedicated. The game itself is always changing, always developing and becoming more interesting. I’ve always been a gamer, but this was different. It didn’t take long to catch on to the workings of the game. Plan to spend at the minimum about an hour a day on daily battles/union events/tasks. It’s addictive in a good way & it’s a game that anyone, no matter the age can play, the developers really are thoughtful about player safety.
