Cool idea but.
Very bare bones. I took an entire game in a single play by just running laps around the field until touchdown.

Love the game, really enjoy playing. Similar to an early Atari arcade game. Wish we had the option to play defense and keep score.
Far too simple
A great game that *looked* like this (back in the 80's), called Gridiron, was a FULL Football game/simulator. It had offensive and defensive formations... And a good ai to play against.
This is nothing close to that. The ai is virtually non-existent... The game is NOT football, but is simply styled after it. No downs, no penalties, no playing defense, no opposing team scores, thus no winner.
It's sad when a 2014 game has its butt kicked by a game that is 20 years old.

Look, the sky is the limit. I'm telling you this is one of the best apps I've ever played. It should be in the top 10 easy. The developers (you) need to update this app please. There is so much variation that you can add with just a little bit of work, and if money's the issue I'm willing to make a donation (not an investment deal)
