the last review I read was from 11 years ago and sadly I am experiencing the same difficulties. I can barely navigate the book or turn pages.
Convenient.. that’s it.
This app is convenient IF you don’t mind having to research for your page in the middle of reading. The app glitches no matter what you press , i get sent back to the table of content, constantly. It’s annoying. If you click next , it sends u to the table of content. If you zoom in, it sends you to table of content. If you highlight , it sends you to table of context. OH and god forbid it takes you longer than 3 second to read cause guess what , it takes you to the table of content. (:

Just terrible
The app has a “Wind blows” feature... if I switch apps and come back my page is lost and shown is a completely different page much like reading on a windy day. Just terrible.
Worthless
The fact that they boast they won awards makes it even more infuriating. It’s such a pain to download course packets. Once you are able to figure that out, taking notes within the app, scrolling, and simply reading its suboptimal at best.
worst app ever
I got a special coursepack and I followed all the instruction to access the file. But all I got was web view disabled message. The app quits on me every time I click on the magnifier. Why can’t you make this app/access to special coursepack easier?! I wish I would never need to deal with this trashy app

Ok, but buggy
Using the search feature crashes the app on iPad 6th gen running iOS 12.4.1. Other than that though, the reader interface is decent, but could do with a little more polish. Login, and course pack downloading were easy.

Useless app
No ability to bookmark. Freezes and crashes constantly and loses your place.
Fed up with AmazonDeletes Highlights
Deletes highlights for no apparent reason. This app is horrible. I have not been able to highlight and go back to anything for months now. I spend most of my time trying to export the readings out to something useful like Notability. This app is a total waste of my time.
Infuriating
This app is so frustrating to use. Auto refreshes to the beginning of the current section every two minutes. I've been using it for less than a week and have no intention of continuing to use it until this is fixed.
No support for Apple Pencil
Why would you not add support for Apple Pencil? Seems like a no brainer for annotations, notes, highlighting, etc. really frustrating to use the app without this.
App is buggy
The app will consistently take me to the beginning of a section when I'm in the middle of reading something. Super annoying.
Needs to be updated
It's not a bad app. It just need some improvements. I read some of the older reviews and the highlighting issue is still there even after several updates and years. Bookmark function would be nice as well. It is any to use and read. It would be nice if they XanEdu would simply update.
Needs a bookmark feature
Nice app, easy to use. Would be better if there was a way to mark your place. Just a simple bookmark like the kindle has.
Poor necessity
I am required to use this app for my online school's reading. It's a terrible app. It's very difficult to highlight, and when I do highlight stuff, the app often erases all of my highlights the next time I open up the app. This is no where near the level of iBooks or kindle and oh how I wish it was! Please fix this poorly operating app!

Don't waste your time
XanEdu app is useless. It won't allow you to export articles or print articles with your notes and/or highlights. The highlighting feature is awkward and time consuming. The app does not allow you to arrange or organize individual articles.
You are better off getting printed versions of the articles from your school, reading and highlighting the old fashioned way and skipping XanEdu all together.

Great for online classes
I like the ability to highlight and annotate texts, would have given 5 stars if it was possible to export notes to non-xanedu users.
