Best ultralight/paramotor nav app!

I love this app for navigation on my paramotor. It’s so easy to plan a route, join up with friends, see where they are on your map, and get back home. All of this works without creating an account or providing any personal info! Easily the best out there.

This permission is required for the location updates to continue when the screen is off. This is how apple has their permissions. The app does not run invisibly in the background. You can see when it is running. It cannot get location when it is not running.

Privacy concerns

App forces to always share location, and also mandatory to have a profile picture. No thanks

You can see when it is running. It cannot get location when it is not running. Profile picture can be anything. It's just a unique thumbnail so that other pilots can identify your icon on the map when flying in a group.

Want privacy

Just downloaded it to try, but, don’t like that setting it up, it wants Location “ON ALL THE TIME”, instead of “while I’m using the app”.
Soooo … probably end up not using it at all!
Fix that issue and I’ll reconsider downloading and trying again.
