About

Xiaorili ("little calendar") puts the Chinese lunar calendar and your own plans side by side. Available in English and Simplified Chinese, following your system language. The interface, widgets, almanac and I Ching readings support both languages. - Month view with Chinese lunar dates, the 24 solar terms and ISO week numbers. - Widgets: add Today, a browsable almanac, a month calendar or a countdown to your Home Screen. Choose an important date for the countdown. Lock Screen widgets offer a circular countdown, an almanac panel and a single line of lunar dates. On iOS 18 or later, add almanac and I Ching controls to Control Center. On iPhone, StandBy shows a large date card while charging in landscape. - Traditional Chinese almanac: daily suitable and unsuitable activities, auspicious and inauspicious stars, clashes and the twelve two-hour periods, all computed on the device. - Today's directions as a compass: hold your phone flat and turn it to see the auspicious directions of the day. It reads the compass heading only and does not need location access. - Auspicious day finder: choose what you plan to do, such as a wedding, moving house or opening a business, and get suitable days with reasons and good hours. Save a day as an important date. - I Ching coin reading: shake your phone to toss three coins from a tortoise shell, six times, then read the original text with plain-language notes and an interpretation based on the date. Copy the reading with one tap. - Public holidays for mainland China (including adjusted workdays), Malaysia by state, Hong Kong, Austria by state, and many other countries. Coverage differs by region; please follow official local announcements. - Trips with destination holidays and six-day weather for the cities you choose. - Birthdays and anniversaries on the Gregorian or lunar calendar, repeating every year. - Optional email account to sync records between your iPhone and iPad. The almanac, auspicious days and I Ching readings are for entertainment and cultural reference only, not a basis for decision-making. For health questions, please follow your doctor's advice. Free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

1.4

October 21, 2026

New Footprint page: a dot map, travel days by month, most visited cities, your longest trip and first visits, by year, calculated on your device. New Year in Travel card: turn a year's countries/regions, cities, travel days and footprint map into an image made on your device, ready to share or save to Photos. New optional rule for mainland China: statutory holidays only, with no make-up workdays, plus optional substitute days when a holiday falls on a weekend. Used across the calendar, leave planner and auspicious days. Arrangements vary by employer; follow your company's notice. The leave planner now supports countries and regions, recommending longer breaks using local weekends and available public holiday data. For reference only; follow your employer's arrangements. Solar term cards and share images now include watercolor illustrations. Improved holiday names for some regions and English widgets, and fixed anniversary milestone dates in a few time zones. Almanac, I Ching and solar term content is for folk culture reference only.
