Okay for the most part
Finally finished it and… It was okay, Not great like the original game, But it’s accurate to Issues 1 to 8 in the comics. 😏😏😏😏😒
Don’t Bother
Puzzles are bad, writing is worse, in-game instructions are wrong. I’ve hit a game breaking bug where I can’t progress past a door, the puzzle just resets for infinity. It only has one save so I’d have to start over. No thanks.
App is unusable!
The scroll function to see the full room doesn't work so it's impossible to find objects that aren't on the main screen! (iPad3).
This app is completely unusable and when I tried to contact the developers to get my money back, their entire website is in French (I do actually understand French, but I'm sure most people in the US don't). However, there is no email contact! There is just snail mail and a phone number in France! They have a twitter account and Facebook page, but no email???
I'll try to contact them on Facebook but I'm not even sure it's worth going through all this for 99 cents, but it's the principal of the thing...
I'd stay away from all apps from this developer for now... It's too bad because I wanted to try their Versailles games, looked interesting, I do love French things, but not from these developers right now!
Follow up: I just posted on their Facebook page (which is also all in French) and I do speak some French and was able to understand the other people's posts and they were all complaints about bugs, apps not working, and even viruses!
Apple, you should ban these people from selling on iTunes!

Great story. Great game play. One of the best HOGs that I've played!
Very disappointing
This game is very boring,unresponsive and basically unplayable as a lot of the hidden objects are off the side of the screen so you can't tap on them. The screen also locks up constantly and you have to keep logging out to free it . Couldn't get past the first level due to not being able to tap on the 'off screen objects'. So this game was a complete waste of money.

This is a poorly scented thing the only challenge is when do you have to play see saw with the screen to find the missing pieces would not buy from this group again.

POINT POSITIF: Pour ceux qui ont lu la BD, c'est un bon résumé.
POINT NÉGATIF Tout le reste. Premièrement, 6$ pour 2 ou 3 heures de jeu maximum c'est du vol. Surtout que la valeur de rejouabilité est nul. Les casse-têtes sont trop simple et trop rare. La plus grande partis du jeu consiste à trouvé des objets cachés sur l'image à l'écran, d'un ennui total. C'est ma première critique, si ça peut éviter une seul personne de se faire avoir, j'aurais fais ma bonne action de la journée.

Horrendous
I never write reviews, but this app is so bad, it needed to be done. There is zero challenge to this game- you are told what moves to make when and they are lame (to put it mildly.) For the price, the creators should be ashamed of themselves.. Take it from me, bo'riiinnngg.... This gets one star, but only because they made me.

Mediocre
The game starts out quite well and the story really shows promise then out of nowhere the character is put in a new location without explanation. From here it goes downhill as the developer has carved away huge sections of the story from the comics and what is left is hard to follow and doesn't make sense.

Disappointing.
Fans that were anticipating this release after the 8-year long wait, prepare to be disappointed. Whilst this may stay true to the original comics, the gameplay and level of interaction is nothing in comparison; for the gamers that had been getting excited over the rumours of a sequel from cliffhanger the previous one left us. This, unfortunately. IS the sequel. A point and click game rather than the FPS we all expected (as seen by the provided shots).
I sacrificed the extortionate amount of money for an interactive story like this with the last ounce of belief, but I could not even bring myself to finish this game and deleted it soon enough. Have wasted such an amount of money for something that was counter-intuitive, non-challenging and bland.

Great game!
Great length, could be a bit cheaper though, a little too much $, I think. But overall nice smooth game play, and great story line, awesome hidden object scenes. Thanks for the fun game!
