Amateur
The one good thing I can say about this app is that individual samples usually sound great. In particular, the style of the sampling is dense and lush.
Other than that, the app is pretty bad. Obvious bugs abound and updates are rare. Scaling does not work properly. The interface is cluttered and outdated even when it works, with almost no proper sound organization. Instruments aren’t labeled by character, but scattered like loose seed into one long list with evocative names such as “Horns 1” “Horns 2” and “Horns 3”.
MIDI mapping doesn’t work consistently. There are a host of problems which occur when hosting that app as an Auv3. Some parts of the interface are often simply unresponsive in certain layouts.
There are no proper articulations. Many libraries have shallow multisampling with obvious repeating timbres. Reverb tails are stiff and abridged. The pianos are cheesy; two decades behind modern libraries, and outdated even on this platform.
The enormous disk size is laughable; a silly, amateur throwback to the early days of PC sample hucking. Ooh wow, it’s so big! It must be good. This app is comparable in size to the largest desktop UVI libraries, but with none of the deeply multisampled, professional, well-coded quality or dedication to the product or platform.
Highly overrated instrument with glacial development and nothing but rough edges. I encourage you to deeply consider your use case for a bloated, middling orchestral library. This isn’t the only option.

So nice. Thank you for making this.
Thank you for making this. How much fun? So much fun.
Makes no sound at all
Wish I knew what it sounded like
Love it soooo much.
This really knocked my socks off, for several reasons. But particularly for how it can help you with temperaments, tunings, and it’s very instructive/Illuminating with regard to how tuning can be used used in choral work, and pitches shifting in response to context. I’m unaware of other apps that aid in this with such a clarity and within such a truly useful interface. I want to explore further, but whenever I load from their list of patches, it all goes silent and won’t return to usefulness until I quit and restart the app. Not sure why this would be. Maybe my iPad doesn’t meet the requirements? Anyway, the one patch is mind blowing and I wish I knew how to remedy this thing that must be a glitch peculiar to my machine. I’m sure their other patches and sound banks are equally wonderful, and if I could check them out, I’d be an easy patron. It seems like it was made by someone who really loves music.

The app
Does not even have sownd to it, and I can’t even figure out the app
Beautiful hmmmm. Well the sound is ,and great value
If they would just redesign the UI , it’s like a trump tweet all block caps and exclamation marks , or allow the user to change the colour palette. As well as giving more free patches to sell the everything pack , because if it wasn’t for YouTube videos , I would have given this a by, there wasn’t enough to judge in the basic version That said I am glad I didn’t , I write orchestral music and this is an absolute belter of a library. I will just have to throw a tea towel over the iPad when I’m using it 😄 Great sounds and great value, oh! and and you can store the waves in the cloud or on an external drive .

Not MPE as stated.
Sounds are pretty good and there are many of them. But I have better sounds and I bought the app because it claimed MPE support. I was hoping to modulate orchestral sounds with my MPE controller.
Maybe I am missing something but only pitch bend is supported and many apps had that before MPE was a thing! It’s got decent sounds but I feel mislead and regret the purchase.

Cool app
I’m really enjoying this app
Disappointed Purchase
OK, so I bought into the hype and bought most of the libraries and got my bonuses as well. Since the last update, I have not been able to access the library‘s that I purchased nor my bonus libraries. In the app it says installed but no sound. I’ve spent a lot of money in this app and I expect better. Will I be able to restore my libraries. The patches are hit or miss. Im on the latest version of iOS. This is a goto for me. Please fix. When it works it’s great

Listed IAPs are wrong.
I downloaded this because I was just interested in one or two of the IAPs. However, when I looked in the Sample Store, only the All Access Pass IAP was available for £34.99. I don’t want all the soundpacks (space constraints) and I don’t wish to pay £34.99 for a couple of soundpacks that together are listed for much less than that. Disappointing. So, two stars for an app with just one pleasant sounding preset.

Fabulous!
So happy with this professional app! Grateful that it works in stand alone— perfect for my set up. What kind pricing too. Amazed! Thanks!
Lovely
This app is kind of perfect. It serves its purpose quite well, I’d say.
Excellent !
Massive range of sampled sounds in a simple to use and stable bug free interface. I’m running this as an instrument plugin without glitches on my iPhone 15 & iPad Mini 5 without problems. 25GB of space is required if you want the full sample bank of sounds. I’ve been searching for a decent, stable sample player for eons and recently discovered this on Youtube. Would have bought it sooner if the App stores useless search engine had found it…

Great app and rich sounds packs I love it
XinematiX Lite
Please make a lite version of this app so everyone can enjoy without the purchases. Thank you!
One problem
Great app. But for some reason, random instruments just decide to not play (ex: autoharp, marcato strings, French horn section). Please fix this.
Response from developer
HalloWeiner, couldn't reproduce the problem here. Maybe some sound libraries had problems downloading. Please try downloading them again. The French Horn Sections are for example in the library "French Horns" Best Regards Harry
Sounds great but not bug-free
Love the sound of the app but the state of the colored slider at the top of the app is not saved when used as AUv3 which means I have to open the app in Audiobus before playing a live show and set it to my preferred position manually.
I hope this will be fixed soon

Astonishing quality and value
There is nothing even close like this on iOS. If you’re looking to score epic games or movie, Xinematix has you covered. Same goes for orchestral mock-ups and pop songs.
Cinematic
5 Stars.
I look great!
