Everything works as it should for me, just wish it had a timer, where I could leave them on, and they would shut off at a certain time.
Music Feature
App works fine except when using an iOS device when you select Music feature you get disconnected from Bluetooth.
CarPlay
Please make usable for CarPlay. Would be a lot easier to use on a motorcycle. Thanks
Fed up of this app and my xkglow lights
I purchased multiple xkglow products back in 2018. I complained in 2020 about issues including the addition of “Circle” the social media part. When I open the app I just want to be in the colour picker like it used to be!! My biggest gripe however, and I’m so sick and tired of this - is every single time there’s an update, it randomly turns on my xkglow lights at the same time as losing my paired controllers from the app. It’s bizarre! This has been a persistent bug for years. I’ll go out to my car one day, lights on, then check my App Store and sure enough there was an update overnight (since my apps auto update when charging - as intended by Apple). Every single time!!!!
I spent nearly $1000 and honestly wish I’d used a different brand now, I was torn between these and TRS (the retrofit source) and feel like I went with the wrong option.

Heart app! Missing random color selection
Good app!
Lost of color patterns and etc.
But honestly I would like it to randomly switch colors to any color.. not just 7-9 presets.
Let it actually show its capabilities of displaying thousands of colors…

I have experimented with most of the automotive LED controller systems on the market. XK is by far the best equipment! Love their products!!!

Great product
Great app … one request, could you allow the speed on “speed sensitivity” to be set lower? These would be WAY more popular with the electric scooter crowd. I use them on a KingSong S18 EUC. It’s mac speed is 30mph
Love but big bug issue
Love this app unfortunately you clearly have an issue with I attempted to turn my underglows on and the app tells me I need to update my app so ok kool go to update my app and my App Store shows no updates needed so after uninstalling and reinstalling it still shows I need an update once again my App Store shows no updates needed so if you could shed some light on this I would appreciate it

Could be much better
Every time I open the app it says it needs to update but when I hit update it just takes me to the App Store and there is no update also my white randomly changes to some kinda light green randomly and won’t go back to white I’ve taken it back several times just to have the same issue
Music Sync
I love the lights but I can’t sync more music due to a “restriction by Apple.” I have to play songs in third party music app?? What does that even mean? I didn’t pay what I paid on a lights install to not be able to do what I want with my lights. Definitely needs a fix

App is relatively easy to use. A couple things I’d fix:
1. The ability to save a Theme as a default.
2. The ability to have the lights move to streamed music rather than relying on the microphone. You phone has to be right in front of a speaker for that to work.
3. I have them connected to my brake lights so they turn red when I apply my brakes. It would be neat if you can configure different brake light modes (flashing, rapid flashing, solid, etc)

Great system, but…
Please add the ability to set color/theme settings for individual xchrome units. It’d really help with building your setup just the way you like it.

This app is a example of great and not so great. It kinda sets itself apart by having a truckload of light patterns but how many does a person need? The real superstar of the app is supposed to be the match your music with the music mode and that feature is a hot pile of garbage. You’d think this app would come with a great user manual built in to guide you on its features but it doesn’t. You have to fumble around like an idiot trying to figure things out since the kit doesn’t even have the decency to come with a paper instruction manual. Now let’s talk about how the music syncs function is just trash. You can’t set it to listen to the music and then react because it will change how the music plays in your car. If your stereo is aftermarket it will cut off all the advanced (or normal) sound processing and the music will sound like it’s coming out of old fashioned headphones. You have to set it to synchronize to the music that is played from your phone directly since mic listening is a broken feature. Syncing it to the music as it plays from your phone is hot garbage as well. The app will play music from your downloaded music library but you have to manually add songs to a playlist that you have to build in the app since the app won’t just read already created playlists on your phone! So this means you can’t use Google assistant or Siri to change music or use the car play or android auto on the screen because doing so means you aren’t using the playlist you had to create on the app. Also, the app will only play from the music app, so if you have music on a podcast radio show oh well, even if it is the default phone podcast app. The app maker needs to integrate the music-light syncing much better since right now it is a mess. To wrap this up, points earned for light flashing modes, even more points lost for busted music-lights modes being broken since that is all that really sets this app apart from most other apps with cheaper hardware that look nearly as good.

Need a update for 14.4 everytime when I turn off my car or it turn off in a while. I have to uninstall the app and download it again, and do the step again.
AWFUL BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
I love everything about these lights besides the connection. That’s my only current issue. They turn on and pair right away when I turn the car on but as I’m driving I’m constantly going on the app making sure they stay connected and when they disconnect I need to reach the phone all the way to the front the windshield while driving to connect them back again. Please fix this somehow.

Great app
I really love the app. Everything works great but it only has one flaw I don’t particularly like. I wish the music sync mode could connect to Spotify, pandora, etc instead of just downloaded songs on your phone. I really don’t want to buy and download a bunch of songs just to have music sync.
Bluetooth trouble
My xkchrome headlights won’t pair to my iPhone 11 Pro Max but when I used an android tablet they paired with that really disappointed
JUST FIX ONE THING
This app is almost perfect. The amount of options and features are great. The only thing I would like updated is allowing background music to play when in the music setting. The music setting only allows music from your iPhone or you can have it listen to what’s playing on the radio. I’d love to have spotify playing and have the lights go with the beat!!!!
