Why Bother?
There are many free or low cost MIDI music apps available, I can’t understand why this exists. The sound quality of the instruments is very poor. The app will not respond to the keyboard unless it is set to MIDI channel 1 (I suspect this is the reason why the other reviewer said it didn’t work).
Works well with both Xkey 25 and 37 … BUT…
While this app works fine as a bare bones player for both the Xkey 25 and 37 controllers, ALL the internal links in the app to places you can go (online) for more info end up landing you at a web page called doctor-mad.com, which contains nothing relevant to the Xkey in any way at all.
Doesn’t recognize the usb connected keyboard
I plugged my Xkey air 37 into my iPad Pro and it doesn’t recognize the connection. It doesn’t work with Bluetooth either. Don’t bother with this app.
Needs another app to work with Bluetooth version
In order to connect the Bluetooth version of the XKey, you have to first connect it to the XKey plus app. If you don’t need to customize the keyboard, it’s much easier to just use Garage Band.
It would be great if there was an app that would still work even when minimized. I can’t play this and read music on the same iPad, which is a shame.

No Integrated Support for Xkey Air
It's a simple, no frills app. I'd like to see support for Bluetooth MIDI connectivity though; considering the Xkey Air is one of your products (and a more expensive one at that), it just seems ridiculous that your app doesn't support the extra BT feature and I have to connect via GarageBand/midimittr.
