What's New in XP Soundboard

4.8.0

February 12, 2026

We dusted off the old CRT monitor and gave everything a tune-up: - Smoother sound playback โ€” no more skipping like a scratched CD - Squashed bugs that even the BSOD couldn't explain - General improvements under the hood (yes, we defragmented) Have you found the Blue Screen of Death yet? Tap around... it's hiding somewhere.

I think I know why theirs some sounds playing and what not

The reason for this is because many of these sounds are not in the os itself in the program events, and you have to manuelly select a sound for that event, e.g print complete. Same with menu command and so on. That's all I could say hear. End of line

Best free app ever

I love this so much that I bought the ad free version just to support the developer. Such a good app.

Meh

Donโ€™t really use it

Fun! Butโ€ฆ

I love using these sounds - but there are quite a few that donโ€™t actually have sound available to use. ๐Ÿฅบ can that be fixed? There are no other apps on here that have xp sounds, so it would be great if you could update it. Thanks! Otherwise I love it! I use it when playing with my laptops I made.

Stolen sounds to support their passive income

Nice one, might as well add some NFTs for in-app purchases while you're at it. Idiot.
