Xpedite

Xpedite is a new way of building your mobile application. It is quicker, cheaper, and easier in every way. This is a server driven mobile application. When the app launches it will connect to a server, this could be where your website is hosted, using the Xpedite protocol you will send back a JSON encoded array of instructions to display text, images and editing forms. Each action on the mobile device will then generate the next call back to the server. Ten reasons to use Xpedite: 1. The protocol is a simple JSON encoded array with keys like "title", "font", "text", "size", etc. 2. You can use your existing technologies, any technology that supports JSON encoding. 3. No need to learn any mobile libraries. 4. Completely free for you to develop with. A subscription is available when you want to publish your application. 5. Flexible subscription options, pay per device, or pay when the app is actually used. 6. We use all native controls on the mobile device. (No html or js) 7. Access to all of those local device features. (Some features are being rolled out in later versions) 8. Updates to your application are similar to updating your website, no need to roll out a new version of the app. 9. Easy access to your server based data sources. 10. You manage all your own security at the server side. When you have developed your application visit https://xpedite.software to subscribe and request your apps to upload for iOS and Android. (Currently we are only offering iOS, Android coming soon). You will supply us with your prefered icon, bundle ID, application display name and URL. We will then build your app using these options. We will supply downloadable executables that you can upload to the online stores using your own accounts. Remember, the app is still talking to your server, so you can continue to make modifications and updates to your server. All we are doing is removing the Xpedite labelling. Updates will be available to the app when new versions of iOS and Android are released, normally with support for any new features available from the OS. We have created a sample application you will find on the "Getting started" page. It is a small app we created for storing your recipes and sharing them with your friends or family. We will publish the code for this application in time, not just yet.
